Systems, devices and methods for resizing a valve annulus are described. An implant is delivered proximate a mitral valve, the implant comprising a tubular body and a plurality of piercing helical anchors, the tubular body comprising an proximal diameter and a distal diameter. Tissue proximate the mitral valve is engaged by rotating the plurality of anchors with corresponding rotational drivers. The tubular body may be transitioned from a first structural configuration having the proximal diameter smaller than the distal diameter to a second structural configuration having the proximal diameter larger than the distal diameter.

What is claimed is: 1. A device for adjusting cardiac tissue, said device comprising: a first expandable member; a second expandable member coupled to and movable with respect to said first expandable member; and a first tissue-engaging element; wherein: said first expandable member is expandable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration for deployment of said first expandable member with respect to the cardiac tissue; said first tissue-engaging element is rotatable with respect to said first expandable member and is delivered to the cardiac tissue with a proximal end thereof rotatably coupled with respect to said first expandable member; said first expandable member is configured to be secured with respect to cardiac tissue to retain the cardiac tissue in a contracted configuration; and said second expandable member is movable independently of said first expandable member to adjust the configuration of the cardiac tissue. 2. The device of claim 1 , wherein a second tissue-engaging component of said device is rotatable with respect to the cardiac tissue. 3. The device of claim 1 , wherein a second tissue-engaging component of said device is rotatable to engage with the cardiac tissue. 4. The device of claim 1 , wherein a second tissue-engaging component of said device is rotatable when engaged with the cardiac tissue. 5. The device of claim 1 , wherein said first expandable member is formed from a plurality of struts. 6. The device of claim 1 , wherein said first tissue-engaging element includes an at least partially annular configuration. 7. The device of claim 1 , wherein said first tissue-engaging element is axially movable with respect to said first expandable member. 8. A device for adjusting cardiac tissue, said device comprising: a first expandable member; a second expandable member coupled to and movable with respect to said first expandable member; and a first tissue-engaging element; wherein: said first expandable member is expandable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration for deployment of said first expandable member with respect to the cardiac tissue; said first tissue-engaging element is rotatable with respect to said first expandable member and is delivered to the cardiac tissue with a proximal end thereof rotatably coupled with respect to said first expandable member; said first expandable member is configured to be secured with respect to cardiac tissue to retain the cardiac tissue in a contracted configuration; and said first tissue-engaging element is pivotable with respect to said second expandable member. 9. A device for adjusting cardiac tissue, said device comprising: a cage; and a securing element having a proximal end and a distal end; wherein: said cage is expandable from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration for deployment of said cage with respect to the cardiac tissue; said cage is movable with respect to the cardiac tissue to contract the cardiac tissue; an expandable member pivotably coupled with respect to said cage to secure a configuration of said cage with respect to the cardiac tissue; and said securing element is coupled to said cage by the proximal end thereof and is axially movable with respect to said cage and the cardiac tissue to secure said cage with respect to the cardiac tissue to secure a contracted configuration of the cardiac tissue. 10. The device of claim 9 , wherein said expandable member is expandable with respect to said cage. 11. The device of claim 9 , wherein said cage is formed from a plurality of struts. 12. The device of claim 9 , wherein said securing element is configured to engage the cardiac tissue. 13. The device of claim 9 , wherein said securing element includes an at least partially annular configuration.
