What is claimed is: 1. A method of lighting an aquarium system comprising: (a) providing a tank arrangement comprising a plurality of individual tanks positioned side by side; a light fixture mounted above the tank arrangement; the light fixture including at least one row of lights extending along a length of the tank arrangement; the lights each being colored one of at least blue, white, red, or a blend thereof; (b) using a programmed control box to set an output of the lights for a sequence of colors, distance increments of colors, and time increments of colors along the length of the tank arrangement; (c) projecting light from the light fixture into the plurality of individual tanks; and (d) actuating a cycle of the projecting light of at least two different colors along the length of the tank arrangement in, (i) predetermined distance increments; and (ii) predetermined time increments. 2. The method of claim 1 , further including using a surface skimmer in the tank arrangement for water clarity. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the light fixture has two or more rows of LED lights. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the lights are colored at least one of yellow, purple, orange, and violet. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the lights are colored at least one of blends of any of: blue, white, red, yellow, purple, orange, and violet. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of projecting light into the plurality of individual tanks includes projecting the light into an array of individual tanks positioned in rows and columns; and using a plurality of the light sources, at least one light source positioned for each row to project colored light in all of the individual tanks for the respective row. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the step of providing a tank arrangement includes providing the plurality of individual tanks within a cabinet. 8. A method of lighting an aquarium system comprising: (a) projecting light from a light source that extends along a length of an aquarium tank arrangement having a plurality of tanks positioned next to each other; the light projecting in each of the plurality of tanks; and the light being at least two different colors; the colors being any one of: blue, white, red, yellow, purple, orange, violet, or blends thereof; and (b) cycling the light in predetermined distance increments and in predetermined time increments. 9. The method of claim 8 wherein projecting light includes using the light source including a plurality of light emitting diodes within a fixture along the length of the tank arrangement. 10. The method of claim 8 , wherein the light source extends a full length of the aquarium tank arrangement. 11. The method of claim 9 further including a programmable control box connected to the fixture. 12. The method of claim 11 wherein the control box has a switch and the method further includes using the switch to set the cycle of the projecting light. 13. The method of claim 8 wherein the step of projecting light into the aquarium tank arrangement includes projecting the light into an array of individual tanks positioned in rows and columns. 14. The method of claim 8 wherein the plurality of tanks includes at least three tanks positioned side-by-side. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the step of cycling includes projecting a first light color in the first and second of the tanks, while projecting a second light color into the other tanks. 16. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one row of lights extends a complete length of the tank arrangement.
