The invention claimed is: 1. A method for producing a hydrocarbon, comprising: preparing a molten salt containing a carbonate of a first metal; obtaining precipitates containing a first metal carbide by applying a voltage to the molten salt; and obtaining a gas containing the hydrocarbon and a hydroxide of the first metal by hydrolyzing the first metal carbide. 2. The method for producing a hydrocarbon according to claim 1 , further comprising: obtaining the carbonate of the first metal by reacting the hydroxide with carbon dioxide; and reusing the carbonate obtained for preparing the molten salt. 3. The method for producing a hydrocarbon according to claim 1 , wherein the hydrocarbon is acetylene. 4. The method for producing a hydrocarbon according to claim 1 , wherein the gas contains acetylene and at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylene, ethane, methane, and hydrogen.
