The invention claimed is: 1. A composite material comprising: an iron-based alloy layer; an intermediate layer provided on the iron-based alloy layer; and a tungsten-containing layer provided directly on the intermediate layer, wherein a thickness of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 0.05 mm and less than 5 mm, a relative density of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 97%, the intermediate layer is composed of pure nickel, a content ratio of tungsten of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 70 mass %, a thickness of the intermediate layer is less than or equal to 50 μm; and a number of voids each having a diameter of more than or equal to 10 μm is less than or equal to 10 per cm 2 between the iron-based alloy layer and the tungsten-containing layer. 2. The composite material according claim 1 , wherein the iron-based alloy layer has a plate shape. 3. The composite material according claim 1 , wherein the intermediate layer has a plate shape. 4. The composite material according claim 1 , wherein the tungsten-containing layer has a plate shape. 5. A composite material comprising: an iron-based alloy layer; an intermediate layer provided on the iron-based alloy layer; and a tungsten-containing layer provided directly on the intermediate layer, wherein a thickness of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 0.05 mm and less than 5 mm, a relative density of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 97%, the intermediate layer is composed of an alloy that contains at least one selected from a group consisting of copper, cobalt, and iron at more than 0 mass % and less than or equal to 71 mass % in total, and that contains nickel at more than or equal to 29 mass % and less than 100 mass %, a content ratio of tungsten of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 70 mass %, a thickness of the intermediate layer is less than or equal to 50 μm; and a number of voids each having a diameter of more than or equal to 10 μm is less than or equal to 10 per cm 2 between the iron-based alloy layer and the tungsten-containing layer. 6. The composite material according claim 5 , wherein the iron-based alloy layer has a plate shape. 7. The composite material according claim 5 , wherein the intermediate layer has a plate shape. 8. The composite material according claim 5 , wherein the tungsten-containing layer has a plate shape. 9. The composite material according claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 0.05 mm and less than or equal to 4 mm. 10. The composite material according claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 0.08 mm and less than or equal to 1 mm. 11. The composite material according claim 5 , wherein the thickness of the tungsten-containing layer is more than or equal to 0.05 mm and less than or equal to 4 mm. 12.
