Official abstract text for this publication.
A display device includes a display panel including a first area including a peripheral region and an emission region of a pixel of a first group; and a second area including a peripheral region and an emission region of a pixel of a second group; at least one insulating layer disposed on the display panel and overlapping the second area; an organic layer disposed on the at least one insulating layer and overlapping the second area; and a light blocking pattern disposed on the organic layer and overlapping the second area. A first opening corresponding to the emission region of the pixel of the second group is formed in the organic layer, and a first light blocking opening corresponding to the first opening is formed in the light blocking pattern.

What is claimed is: 1. A display device comprising: a base layer including a first area including a first emission region and a first peripheral region around the first emission region and a second area including a second emission region and a second peripheral region around the second emission region; a first light emitting element disposed on the base layer and corresponding to the first emission region; a second light emitting element disposed on the base layer and corresponding to the second emission region; a thin encapsulation layer disposed on the first and second light emitting elements and overlapping the first and second light emitting elements; a first pattern disposed on the thin encapsulation layer and overlapping the first and second peripheral regions; a first organic layer disposed on the thin encapsulation layer and covering the first pattern; and a second pattern disposed on the first organic layer, overlapping the first pattern in the second peripheral region, and non-overlapping the first pattern in the first peripheral region. 2. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising: a first color filter overlapping the first light emitting element; and a second color filter overlapping the second light emitting element. 3. The display device of claim 2 , wherein the first color filter and the second color filter are disposed on the thin encapsulation layer. 4. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first emission region comprises one red emission region, one blue emission region, and two green emission regions, and the first light emitting element comprises one red light emitting element corresponding to the one red emission region, one blue light emitting element corresponding to the one blue emission region, and two green light emitting elements corresponding to the two green emission regions. 5. The display device of claim 1 , wherein an arrangement of the first pattern in the first area and an arrangement of the first pattern in the second area are substantially the same. 6. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting element is deactivated and the second light emitting element is activated in a first operation mode, and the first light emitting element is activated and the second light emitting element is activated in a second operation mode. 7. The display device of claim 1 , wherein the first pattern and the second pattern have different widths. 8. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising an organic pattern overlapping the first area and non-overlapping the second area, wherein the organic pattern is disposed between the thin encapsulation layer and the first organic layer. 9. The display device of claim 1 , further comprising a second organic layer disposed on the second pattern, wherein a refractive index of the first organic layer is different from a refractive index of the second organic layer. 10. The display device of claim 1 , wherein a first opening is defined in the first organic layer and corresponds to the second emission region. 11. An electronic device comprising: a display panel including a first area including a first emission region on which a first light emitting element is disposed and a first peripheral region around the first emission region, and a second area including a second emission region on which a second light emitting element is disposed and a second peripheral region around the second emission region; a first pattern disposed on the display panel and overlapping the first and second peripheral regions; a first organic layer disposed on the display panel and covering the first pattern; and a second pattern disposed on the first organic layer, overlapping the first pattern in the second peripheral region, and non-overlapping the first pattern in the first peripheral region. 12. The electronic device of claim 11 , further comprising: a first color filter overlapping the first light emitting element; and a second color filter overlapping the second light emitting element. 13. The electronic device of claim 12 , wherein the first color filter and the second color filter are disposed on the display panel. 14. The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the first emission region comprises one red emission region, one blue emission region, and two green emission regions, and the first light emitting element comprises one red light emitting element corresponding to the one red emission region, one blue light emitting element corresponding to the one blue emission region, and two green light emitting elements corresponding to the two green emission regions. 15. The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein an arrangement of the first pattern in the first area and an arrangement of the first pattern in the second area are substantially the same. 16. The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the first light emitting element is deactivated and the second light emitting element is activated in a first operation mode, and the first light emitting element is activated and the second light emitting element is activated in a second operation mode. 17. The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein the first pattern and the second pattern have different widths. 18. The electronic device of claim 11 , further comprising an organic pattern overlapping the first area and non-overlapping the second area, wherein the organic pattern is disposed between the display panel and the first organic layer. 19. The electronic device of claim 11 , further comprising a second organic layer disposed on the second pattern, wherein a refractive index of the first organic layer is different from a refractive index of the second organic layer. 20. The electronic device of claim 11 , wherein a first opening is defined in the first organic layer and corresponds to the second emission region.
