Articles, such as sanitary tissue products, including fibrous structures, and more particularly articles including fibrous structures having a plurality of fibrous elements wherein the article exhibits differential cellulose content throughout the thickness of the article and methods for making same are provided.

What is claimed is: 1. An article comprising: a. a first ply comprising a first plurality of wood pulp fibers and a plurality of spun polyvinyl alcohol filaments, wherein a first portion of the first plurality of wood pulp fibers are in the form of a first wet laid fibrous structure and a second portion of the first plurality of wood pulp fibers are commingled together with at least a portion of the plurality of spun polyvinyl alcohol filaments in the form of a coform fibrous structure, wherein the portion of the plurality of spun polyvinyl alcohol filaments; b. a second ply comprising a second wet laid fibrous structure comprising a second plurality of wood pulp fibers, wherein the second wet laid fibrous structure is bonded to the first wet laid fibrous structure; and wherein the article is void of a hydroentangled fibrous web. 2. The article according to claim 1 wherein at least one the first and second plurality of wood pulp fibers are selected from the group consisting of: northern softwood kraft pulp fibers, southern softwood kraft pulp fibers, northern hardwood pulp fibers, tropical hardwood pulp fibers, and mixtures thereof. 3. The article according to claim 1 wherein at least one of the first plurality of wood pulp fibers or the second plurality of wood pulp fibers comprise trichome fiber. 4. The article according to claim 1 wherein at least one of the first plurality of wood pulp fibers or the second plurality of wood pulp fibers comprises an absorbent gel material. 5. The article according to claim 1 wherein at least one of the first plurality of wood pulp fibers or the second plurality of wood pulp fibers comprises a surface having a surface pattern. 6. The article according to claim 1 wherein the article comprises at least one meltblown fibrous structure that forms at least one of the exterior surfaces of the article.
