Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A management system includes a recording device recording an image of a gaming chip and an inspection device determining a type and authenticity of the gaming chip. The gaming chip has a multilayer structure in which both sides of a colored layer are sandwiched between light color layers, surface printing representing a type of the gaming chip is performed on outer sides of the light color layers, and an authenticity recognition mark is printed on the colored layer of an inside of the light color layers by an infrared absorbing material. A visible light camera photographs a visible light image of the surface printing, and an infrared light camera photographs an infrared image of the internal printing. The inspection device determines the type and authenticity of the gaming chip using the visible light image and the infrared image.

First claim

What is claimed is: 1. A gaming chip, wherein a recess portion is formed in a central portion of a flat surface, the gaming chip comprising: a first printing layer on which an authenticity recognition mark made of an infrared absorbing material is printed, and a second printing layer, which includes an indication indicating a type of the gaming chip, wherein the first printing layer and the second printing layer are formed within the recess portion, and wherein the authenticity recognition mark is to be used to determine an authenticity of the gaming chip by performing infrared irradiation from a side on which the indication indicating the type of the gaming chip is printed using an infrared camera. 2. The gaming chip according to claim 1 , wherein the authenticity recognition mark of the gaming chip can be discriminated by performing infrared irradiation, and wherein an association between the authenticity recognition mark and the indication indicating the type of the gaming chip read by using a normal camera can be determined. 3. The gaming chip according to claim 1 , wherein the authenticity recognition mark of the gaming chip is printed with a transparent or translucent infrared absorbing material. 4. The gaming chip according to claim 1 , wherein the gaming chip includes a colored layer at least in a middle of the gaming chip and has a structure in which a stripe pattern is formed in a stacking direction on a side surface by being a multilayer structure in which light-colored layers are stacked on both sides of the colored layer in the middle of the gaming chip. 5. The gaming chip according to claim 1 , wherein the authenticity recognition mark is a character or a pattern. 6. The gaming chip according to claim 4 , wherein the authenticity recognition mark is associated by a database with at least a type of the gaming chip identified by the colored layer. 7. The gaming chip according to claim 1 , wherein an RF tag storing RF tag information is built in the gaming chip. 8. The gaming chip according to claim 7 , wherein the authenticity recognition mark is associated by a database with at least the RF tag information. 9. The gaming chip according to claim 4 , wherein an ID mark made of UV ink or carbon black ink is provided on an outer circumferential surface of the light-colored layer in the gaming chip. 10. The gaming chip according to claim 9 , wherein the authenticity recognition mark is associated by a database with at least the ID mark.
