In one example of the disclosure, a substantially transparent substrate is provided at a printer. A primer layer is applied upon a first surface of the substrate. A security ink layer that includes security information is applied upon the primer layer. An opaque background ink layer is applied upon the security ink layer. A corona treatment is applied to a second surface, located on an opposite side of the substrate relative to the first surface. A release ink layer is applied upon the corona-treated second surface. An opaque cover image ink layer is applied upon the release ink layer.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of producing a structure including a scratch-off layer, comprising: (a) applying a security ink layer on a first side of a substantially transparent substrate; (b) forming an opaque background layer on the security ink layer; and (c) applying an opaque cover layer on a second side of the substantially transparent substrate at a location aligned with the security ink layer, wherein the security ink layer includes security information which is visible through the substantially transparent substrate when the opaque cover layer is scratched off and wherein (a)-(c) are performed using a single printer, wherein the single printer includes a duplexer which is to enable (a)-(c) to be automatically performed on the first and second sides of the substantially transparent substrate, and wherein: (a) and (b) are to be controlled by a first engine of the single printer, and (c) is to be controlled by a second engine of the single printer. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: applying, by the single printer, a release layer on the second side of the substantially transparent substrate, wherein the release layer is between the second side of the substantially transparent substrate and the opaque cover layer. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the security information is printed by the single printer in a mirror-image format. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the opaque background layer includes an image or message that is visible through the second side of the substantially transparent substrate. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the opaque background layer includes an image or message facing the first side of the substantially transparent substrate. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the opaque cover layer includes an image or message that relates to the security information. 7. A method of producing a structure including a scratch-off layer, comprising: (a) applying a security ink layer on a first side of a substantially transparent substrate; (b) forming an opaque background layer on the security ink layer; and (c) applying an opaque cover layer on a second side of the substantially transparent substrate at a location aligned with the security ink layer, wherein the security ink layer includes security information which is visible through the substantially transparent substrate when the opaque cover layer is scratched off and wherein (a)-(c) are performed using a single printer, and (d) applying, by the single printer, a primer layer on the first side of the substantially transparent substrate, wherein the primer layer is applied between the first side of the substantially transparent substrate and the security ink layer. 8. A method of producing a structure including a scratch-off layer, comprising: (a) applying a security ink layer on a first side of a substantially transparent substrate; (b) forming an opaque background layer on the security ink layer; and (c) applying an opaque cover layer on a second side of the substantially transparent substrate at a location aligned with the security ink layer, wherein the security ink layer includes security information which is visible through the substantially transparent substrate when the opaque cover layer is scratched off and wherein (a)-(c) are performed using a single printer, and (d) applying a corona treatment to the substantially transparent substrate. 9. A method of producing a structure including a scratch-off layer, comprising: (a) applying a security ink layer on a first side of a substantially transparent substrate; (b) forming an opaque background layer on the security ink layer; and (c) applying an opaque cover layer on a second side of the substantially transparent substrate at a location aligned with the security ink layer, wherein the security ink layer includes security information which is visible through the substantially transparent substrate when the opaque cover layer is scratched off and wherein (a)-(c) are performed using a single printer, and wherein: (a) and (b) are to be controlled by a first engine of the single printer, and (c) is to be controlled by a second engine of the single printer.
