Devices for dispensing medications include a holding unit having first and second opposing sides, medication storage and dispensing stations removably fastened to the first side of the holding unit, each storage and dispensing station having a medication dispensing channel for dispensing individual medications and medication slides fastened to the second side of the holding unit. A frame structure is disposed on the second side of the holding unit and guide units are removably fastened to the frame structure and disposed on the second side of the holding unit, each guide unit having guide receptacle openings and a guide dispensing opening. The holding unit and the frame structure are fastened on or in the device to be movable relative to one another and the guide units are accessible from outside the device in an access position.

What claimed is: 1. A device for dispensing medications, comprising: a holding unit having first and second opposing sides; a plurality of medication storage and dispensing stations removably fastened to the first side of the holding unit, each storage and dispensing station having a medication dispensing channel for dispensing individual medications; a plurality of medication slides fastened to the second side of the holding unit; a frame structure disposed on the second side of the holding unit; and a plurality of guide units removably fastened to the frame structure and disposed on the second side of the holding unit, each guide unit comprising a plurality of guide receptacle openings and a guide dispensing opening, wherein the holding unit and the frame structure are fastened on or in the device such that the holding unit and the frame structure are movable relative to one another and the plurality of guide units are accessible from outside the device in an access position. 2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the holding unit is mounted in the device by a pivot joint and configured to be pivotable. 3. The device of claim 1 , wherein the holding unit is slidably mounted in the device with a sliding mechanism. 4. The device of claim 1 , wherein the guide unit is configured so that a formfitting removable connection exists between the guide unit and a suspension member of the frame structure. 5. The device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of medication slides are removably fastened to the holding unit, each medication slide aligned with one of the plurality of slide openings. 6. The device of claim 1 , wherein each medication slide is configured so that a formfitting connection exists between the medication slide and the holding unit. 7. The device of claim 1 , wherein a portion of each medication slide is received within one of the plurality of guide receptacle openings. 8. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a sensor unit configured to detect a presence of one or more of the medication slides. 9. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a sensor unit configured to detect a degree of soiling of one or more of the medication slides. 10. The device of claim 1 , further comprising a collecting device for receiving individual medications from the guide dispensing openings of the plurality of guide units. 11. The device of claim 10 , wherein the collecting device comprises a plurality of collecting units configured to be used as temporary medication stores. 12. The device of claim 1 , wherein each guide unit has an anti-stick coating on the inside. 13. The device of claim 1 , wherein each guide unit comprises a first half having the guide receptacle openings and a second half having a guide channel. 14. A device for dispensing medications, comprising: a holding unit having first and second opposing sides; a plurality of medication storage and dispensing stations removably fastened to the first side of the holding unit, each storage and dispensing station having a medication dispensing channel for dispensing individual medications; a plurality of medication slides fastened to the second side of the holding unit; a frame structure disposed on the second side of the holding unit; a plurality of guide units removably fastened to the frame structure and disposed on the second side of the holding unit, each guide unit comprising a plurality of guide receptacle openings and a guide dispensing opening; and a mounting mechanism configured to provide movement of the frame structure and the holding unit relative to one another. 15. The device of claim 14 , wherein the frame structure comprises a plurality of suspension members, wherein each of the plurality of guide units is suspended from one of the plurality of suspension members. 16. The device of claim 14 , wherein one of: the plurality of medication slides are removably fastened to the holding unit, each medication slide aligned with one of the plurality of slide openings; each medication slide is configured so that a formfitting connection exists between the medication slide and the holding unit; and a portion of each medication slide is received within one of the plurality of guide receptacle openings. 17. The device of claim 14 , further comprising one of: a sensor unit configured to detect a presence of one or more of the medication slides; and a sensor unit configured to detect a degree of soiling of one or more of the medication slides. 18. The device of claim 14 , further comprising a collecting device for receiving individual medications from the guide dispensing openings of the plurality of guide units. 19. The device of claim 18 , wherein the collecting device comprises a plurality of collecting units configured to be used as temporary medication stores. 20. The device of claim 14 , wherein one of: each of the plurality of guide units has an anti-stick coating on the inside; and each of the plurality of guide units comprises a first half having the guide receptacle openings and a second half having a guide channel.
