A linear compressor includes a cylinder, a piston configured to axially reciprocate in the cylinder, a first muffler unit coupled to the piston, a back cover that is disposed at a rear of the piston and defines an opening in a radially central area thereof, and a second muffler unit coupled to the opening. The first muffler unit includes an inner guide disposed in the piston and a first intake muffler disposed at a rear of the inner guide. The second muffler unit includes a second intake muffler that is in fluid communication with the first intake muffler and coupled to the opening, and a muffler body surrounding the second intake muffler. The second muffler unit further includes a rib protruding from an outer surface or an inner surface of the second intake muffler.

What is claimed is: 1. A linear compressor comprising: a cylinder; a piston configured to axially reciprocate in the cylinder; a back cover spaced apart from the piston, the back cover defining an opening at a central area thereof in a radial direction; a first muffler unit coupled to the piston, the first muffler unit comprising (i) an inner guide disposed in the piston and (ii) a first intake muffler disposed between the inner guide and the back cover; and a second muffler unit coupled to the opening of the back cover, the second muffler unit comprising: a second intake muffler that is in fluid communication with the first intake muffler and is coupled to the opening of the back cover, a muffler body that surrounds the second intake muffler, and at least one rib that protrudes from the second intake muffler or the muffler body, wherein the second intake muffler comprises: a first cylindrical portion, a first flange that extends radially outward from a first portion of the first cylindrical portion facing the first intake muffler, and a second flange that extends radially outward from a second portion of the first cylindrical portion axially spaced apart from the first portion of the first cylindrical portion, and wherein the at least one rib comprises: a first rib that protrudes radially outward from an outer circumferential surface of the second intake muffler and extends in a circumferential direction of the second intake muffler, and a second rib that extends axially between the first flange and the second flange. 2. The linear compressor of claim 1 , wherein the outer circumferential surface of the second intake muffler defines a first communication hole that is in fluid communication with an inner space of the second intake muffler and a space between the second intake muffler and the muffler body, and wherein the first rib overlaps with the first communication hole along the circumferential direction. 3. The linear compressor of claim 1 , wherein the second rib defines: a first area that extends axially along an outer circumferential surface of the first cylindrical portion; a second area that is connected to the first area and extends radially along a first surface of the first flange, the second area protruding from the first surface of the first flange axially toward the second flange; and a third area that is connected to the first area and extends radially along a second surface of the second flange, the third area protruding from the second surface of the second flange axially toward the first flange. 4. The linear compressor of claim 1 , wherein the second rib overlaps with the first rib, and wherein a radial length of the second rib protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the first cylindrical portion is greater than a radial length of the first rib protruding from the outer circumferential surface of the first cylindrical portion. 5. The linear compressor of claim 1 , wherein the at least one rib further comprises a third rib that protrudes from a first surface of the first flange toward the first intake muffler and extends radially along the first flange. 6. The linear compressor of claim 5 , wherein the third rib is one of a plurality of third ribs that are spaced apart from one another in the circumferential direction, and wherein at least one of the plurality of third ribs has a different shape from another of the plurality of third ribs. 7. The linear compressor of claim 1 , wherein the at least one rib further comprises a third rib that protrudes from a first surface of the first flange toward the first intake muffler and extends radially along the first flange, and wherein the third rib does not overlap with the second rib along an axial direction. 8. A linear compressor comprising: a cylinder; a piston configured to axially reciprocate in the cylinder; a back cover spaced apart from the piston, the back cover defining an opening at a central area thereof in a radial direction; a first muffler unit coupled to the piston, the first muffler unit comprising (i) an inner guide disposed in the piston and (ii) a first intake muffler disposed between the inner guide and the back cover; and a second muffler unit coupled to the opening of the back cover, the second muffler unit comprising: a second intake muffler that is in fluid communication with the first intake muffler and is coupled to the opening of the back cover, a muffler body that surrounds the second intake muffler, and at least one rib that protrudes from the second intake muffler or the muffler body, wherein the muffler body comprises: a second cylindrical portion disposed at a radially outside of the second intake muffler, the second cylindrical portion comprising (i) a front side surface that faces the second intake muffler, (ii) an inner circumferential surface that defines a central opening axially through the front side surface, and (iii) an outer circumferential surface that surrounds the inner circumferential surface and is spaced apart from the inner circumferential surface, wherein the front side surface blocks a front of a space between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface, wherein a rear side of the second cylindrical portion is open and in fluid communication with a rear of the space between the inner circumferential surface and the outer circumferential surface of the second cylindrical portion, and wherein the at least one rib comprises a fourth rib that protrudes radially outward from the outer circumferential surface of the second cylindrical portion and extends axially along the outer circumferential surface of the second cylindrical portion. 9. The linear compressor of claim 8 , wherein the muffler body comprises a third flange that extends inward from the inner circumferential surface of the second cylindrical portion, and wherein the at least one rib further comprises a fifth rib that protrudes from a front surface of the third flange facing the second intake muffler. 10. The linear compressor of claim 9 , wherein a radial width of the fifth rib decreases as the fifth rib extends from the front surface of the third flange toward the inner circumferential surface of the second cylindrical portion. 11.
