Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for deploying enterprise systems in cloud environments. In one implementation, a system for deploying an enterprise system in a cloud environment may include at least one processor configured to provide: one or more first containers hosting at least one application with at least one enterprise function; one or more second containers hosting at least one microservice configured to activate the at least one enterprise function; at least one application programming interface (API) between the at least one microservice and at least one client; and at least one gateway configured to manage access to the at least one API.

First claim

Opening claim text (preview).

What is claimed is: 1. A method for deploying an enterprise system in a cloud environment, comprising: retrieving a backup file in a first format; validating the integrity of the backup file; parsing the backup file from the first format into a second format, wherein the second format is associated with the enterprise system and is different from the first format; procuring a cloud infrastructure for an enterprise system; initiating an application in the enterprise system; deploying a microservice in conjunction with the application, wherein the microservice is configured to activate a function of the application; scaling the application based on a measured performance indicator, wherein scaling the application includes: instantiating two or more containers; and duplicating the application across each of the two or more containers; and storing data from the parsed backup file in the second format to a virtual data store accessible by the application, wherein: the enterprise system is configured to run the application using the virtual data store; and the virtual data store is accessible by the application running in each of the two or more containers. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: decrypting the backup file prior to parsing. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein initiating the application includes: initiating a common processing engine; and executing the application on the common processing engine. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the deploying includes deploying an extension to the application, wherein the extension is configured to provide a custom function to the application. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the deploying includes deploying a configuration file for the application. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: integrating a peripheral into the enterprise system. 7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: enabling a gateway for an input device to access an application programming interface provided by the microservice, wherein the input device accesses the application through the application programming interface and the microservice. 8. A system for deploying an enterprise system in a cloud environment, comprising: at least one memory storing instructions; and at least one processor configured to: retrieve a backup file in a first format; validate the integrity of the backup file; and parse the backup file from the first format into a second format, wherein the second format is associated with the enterprise system and is different from the first format; procure a cloud infrastructure for an enterprise system; initiate an application in the enterprise system; deploy a microservice in conjunction with the application, wherein the microservice is configured to activate a function of the application; scale the application based on a measured performance indicator, wherein scaling the application includes: instantiating two or more containers; and duplicating the application across each of the two or more containers; and store data from the parsed backup file in the second format to a virtual data store accessible by the application, wherein: the enterprise system is configured to run the application using the virtual data store; and the virtual data store is accessible by the application running in each of the two or more containers the enterprise system is configured to run the application using the virtual data store. 9. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: decrypt the backup file prior to parsing. 10. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to initiate the application by: initiating a common processing engine; and executing the application on the common processing engine. 11. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: deploy an extension to the application, wherein the extension is configured to provide a custom function to the application. 12. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: deploy a configuration file for the application. 13. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: integrate a peripheral into the enterprise system. 14. The system of claim 8 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to: enable a gateway for an input device to access an application programming interface provided by the microservice, wherein the input device accesses the application through the application programming interface and the microservice.
