Official abstract text for this publication.
A device may include a processor, a wireless transceiver in communication with the processor, and a non-transitory memory. The memory may store instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform processing. The processing may include receiving a command configured to be executed by an external user device. The external user device and the user device may be members of a network of trust. The processing may include detecting, by the wireless transceiver, a plurality of member devices of the network of trust in communication range of the device. The processing may include sending, by the wireless transceiver, the command to each of the plurality of member devices.

What is claimed is: 1. A user device comprising: a processor, a wireless transceiver in communication with the processor; and a non-transitory memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform processing comprising: detecting, by the wireless transceiver, at least one device in communication range of the user device; and for each at least one detected device: sending, through the wireless transceiver, a challenge to the detected device in response to the detecting; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a device identifier from the detected device in response to the challenge; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a second challenge from the detected device; generating a response to the second challenge, the generating comprising inserting information uniquely identifying the user device into the response; sending, through the wireless transceiver, the response to the detected device in response to the second challenge; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a second response from the detected device in response to the response; in response to receiving the device identifier, extracting information about the detected device from the second response and locally storing the information about the detected device in a local set of a plurality of trusted devices maintained in local memory; and in response to identifying the information about the detected device in the local set of the plurality of trusted devices maintained in local memory, executing a command enabled by the information about the detected device. 2. The user device of claim 1 , wherein the processing further comprises determining at least one of the plurality of trusted devices. 3. The user device of claim 2 , wherein the determining comprises receiving information identifying the at least one of the plurality of trusted devices from a data source. 4. The user device of claim 1 , wherein executing the command comprises receiving data associated with the command from a server. 5. The user device of claim 1 , wherein executing the command comprises receiving data associated with the command from an interface of the detected device. 6. The user device of claim 1 , wherein the command includes instructions to disable at least one function of the detected device. 7. The user device of claim 1 , wherein the command includes instructions to perform at least one transaction including sending data by the wireless transceiver. 8. A non-transitory computer readable medium configured to store instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to perform processing comprising: detecting, by a wireless transceiver in communication with the at least one processor, at least one device in communication range of the wireless transceiver; and for each at least one detected device: sending, through the wireless transceiver, a challenge to the detected device in response to the detecting; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a device identifier from the detected device in response to the challenge; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a second challenge from the detected device; generating a response to the second challenge, the generating comprising inserting information uniquely identifying the at least one processor into the response; sending, through the wireless transceiver, the response to the detected device in response to the second challenge; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a second response from the detected device in response to the response; in response to receiving the device identifier, extracting information about the detected device from the second response and locally storing the information about the detected device in a local set of a plurality of trusted devices maintained in local memory; and in response to identifying the information about the detected device in the local set of the plurality of trusted devices maintained in local memory, executing a command enabled by the information about the detected device. 9. The computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the processing further comprises determining at least one of the plurality of trusted devices. 10. The computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein executing the command comprises receiving data associated with the command from a server. 11. The computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein executing the command comprises receiving data associated with the command from an interface of the detected device. 12. The computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the command includes instructions to disable at least one function of the detected device. 13. The computer readable medium of claim 8 , wherein the command includes instructions to perform at least one transaction including sending data by the wireless transceiver. 14. A method comprising: detecting, by a wireless transceiver in communication with at least one processor, at least one device in communication range of the wireless transceiver; and for each at least one detected device, performing, by the at least one processor, processing comprising: sending, through the wireless transceiver, a challenge to the detected device in response to the detecting; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a device identifier from the detected device in response to the challenge; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a second challenge from the detected device; generating a response to the second challenge, the generating comprising inserting information uniquely identifying the at least one processor into the response; sending, through the wireless transceiver, the response to the detected device in response to the second challenge; receiving, through the wireless transceiver, a second response from the detected device in response to the response; in response to receiving the device identifier, extracting information about the detected device from the second response and locally storing the information about the detected device in a local set of a plurality of trusted devices maintained in local memory; and in response to identifying the information about the detected device in the local set of the plurality of trusted devices maintained in local memory, executing a command enabled by the information about the detected device. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the processing further comprises determining at least one of the plurality of trusted devices. 16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the determining comprises receiving information identifying the at least one of the plurality of trusted devices from a data source. 17. The method of claim 14 , wherein executing the command comprises receiving data associated with the command from a server. 18. The method of claim 14 , wherein executing the command comprises receiving data associated with the command from an interface of the detected device. 19. The method of claim 14 , wherein the command includes instructions to disable at least one function of the detected device. 20. The method of claim 14 , wherein the command includes instructions to perform at least one transaction including sending data by the wireless transceiver.
