What is claimed is: 1. A Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) device for treating a patient with a sleep disordered breathing (SDB) condition, the CPAP device comprising: a humidifier including a chamber configured to contain water for humidification of pressurized air during use, and the humidifier having a flat, external surface and a first hole in the flat, external surface; a flow generator configured to pressurize air to a positive pressure, the flow generator having a second hole configured to discharge pressurized air; a cradle having a first portion that supports the flow generator and a second portion configured to removably receive the humidifier along a linear path and support the humidifier when the humidifier is received by the cradle; and a connector having an attaching portion attached to the flow generator and a flexible sealing portion configured to sealingly engage the flat, external surface around the first hole when the humidifier is removably received by the cradle, and the connector forming a passage for pressurized air to flow from the second hole of the flow generator to the first hole of the humidifier, wherein the connector and the first hole are shaped and dimensioned such that the connector does not enter the first hole when the flexible sealing portion is sealingly engaged with the flat, external surface. 2. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the humidifier includes a humidifier tub and a base plate, the chamber being formed by the humidifier tub and the base plate, wherein the base plate is a heat conducting base plate, and wherein the second portion of the cradle has a heater element configured to generate heat and thermally contact the heat conducting base plate to conduct heat to the heat conducting base plate to heat water in the humidifier when the humidifier is removably received by the cradle. 3. The CPAP device of claim 2 , wherein the humidifier tub includes the flat, external surface and the first hole. 4. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the cradle includes a first wall portion and the humidifier includes a second wall portion that is shaped to conform to the first wall portion when the humidifier is removably received by the cradle. 5. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the cradle includes a locking mechanism configured to releasably engage the humidifier. 6. The CPAP device of claim 5 , wherein the locking mechanism is spring-loaded. 7. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flexible sealing portion of the connector is a bellows-type conforming face seal. 8. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flexible sealing portion of the connector comprises a cantilevered lip having a circular edge that forms a third hole for the passage of pressurized air from the second hole, through the third hole, to the first hole. 9. The CPAP device of claim 8 , wherein the flexible sealing portion of the connector and the humidifier are configured such that the circular edge that forms the third hole is positioned outside of the humidifier when the humidifier is received by the cradle. 10. The CPAP device of claim 8 , wherein the flexible sealing portion of the connector further comprises a curved external surface positioned between the attaching portion and the circular edge that forms the third hole. 11. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the entire connector is made from silicone. 12. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the attaching portion and the flexible sealing portion have different rigidities. 13. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flexible sealing portion is made from silicone. 14. The CPAP device of claim 13 , wherein the attaching portion is made from plastic. 15. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flexible sealing portion is configured to be urged against the flat, external surface by pressurized air within the connector when sealingly engaged with the flat, external surface during use. 16. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flat, external surface is configured so as not to enter the flexible sealing portion when the flexible sealing portion is sealingly engaged with the flat, external surface. 17. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the connector is removable from the flow generator. 18. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flow generator includes an outlet, the connector being removably connected to the flow generator at the outlet, and wherein the first hole of the humidifier is an inlet. 19. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the flexible sealing portion is configured to maintain a pneumatic connection between the flow generator and the humidifier if a central axis of the first hole and a central axis of the second hole are misaligned when the flexible sealing portion is sealingly engaged with the flat, external surface. 20. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein the first hole and the second hole are circular in shape. 21. The CPAP device of claim 1 , wherein: the humidifier includes a humidifier tub and a base plate, the chamber being formed by the humidifier tub and the base plate, the base plate is a heat conducting base plate, the second portion of the cradle has a heater element configured to generate heat and thermally contact the heat conducting base plate to conduct heat to the heat conducting base plate to heat water in the humidifier when the humidifier is removably received by the cradle, the flexible sealing portion of the connector comprises a cantilevered lip having a circular edge that forms a third hole for the passage of pressurized air from the second hole, through the third hole, to the first hole, the flexible sealing portion is made from silicone, the flat, external surface is configured so as not to enter the flexible sealing portion when the flexible sealing portion is sealingly engaged with the flat, external surface, the flow generator includes an outlet, the connector being removably connected to the flow generator at the outlet, and the first hole of the humidifier is an inlet. 22.
