Official abstract text for this publication.
A method, performed in a User Equipment (UE), is disclosed. The method is for facilitating the establishing of a UE processing configuration for the selective enhancement of radio signals received or transmitted by the UE. The method comprises receiving from a Transmission Point (TP) of a wireless network an indication that an identified reference signal is usable by the UE for establishing a UE processing configuration, and receiving the identified reference signal from a Transmission Point of the wireless network.

What is claimed is: 1. A method, performed in a User Equipment (UE), for facilitating establishment of a UE beam configuration for selective enhancement of radio signals received or transmitted by the UE, the method comprising: receiving identification of an allocation of resources for reference signals; receiving a flag indicating whether the reference signals have a same beam configuration or have different beam configurations; and sending a measurement report for the reference signals as received by the UE. 2. The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a Transmission Point within a wireless network transmits the reference signals. 3. The method as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising establishing the UE beam configuration based on the received reference signals. 4. The method as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the UE beam configuration is a receive beamforming configuration. 5. The method as claimed in claim 3 , wherein the UE beam configuration is a transmit beamforming configuration. 6. The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the flag is received in a message containing the identification of the allocation of resources for the reference signals. 7. The method as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the message comprises one of a Measurement Grant Message and a Configuration Message. 8. A method, performed in a wireless network, for facilitating establishment of a beam configuration in a User Equipment (UE), the method comprising: sending an identification of an allocation of resources for reference signals; sending a flag indicating whether the reference signals have a same beam configuration or have different beam configurations; and receiving a measurement report from the UE for the reference signals as received by the UE.
