What is claimed is: 1. A method of controlling a vehicle, comprising: capturing, using a plurality of cameras within the vehicle, an image including an object; classifying, by an image analysis system, pixels in the image as object pixels or background pixels; detecting, by the image analysis system, edges of the object based at least in part on the classified pixels; determining a location or a position of the object based at least in part on the edges; and controlling an operation of the vehicle based at least in part on the location or the position of the object, wherein the object comprises a person or a body part of the person. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising sensing a heart rate, a pulse rate, or a breathing rate of the person. 3. The method of claim 2 , further comprising causing the vehicle to accelerate more slowly or turn more or less tightly in response to the heart rate, the pulse rate, or the breathing rate. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the object comprises the body part of the person, wherein the body part comprises an arm, a hand, or a finger, and wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises controlling a temperature within the vehicle based on the location or the position of the arm, the hand, or the finger. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises adjusting a speech recognizer in the vehicle to focus capturing speech from a position of the person. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising emitting infrared light using a pair of infrared light sources, wherein the pixels are classified as the object pixels or the background pixels based on detecting an amount of infrared light reflected by the object or determining a brightness of the pixels. 7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising pulsing the pair of infrared light sources to increase contrast between the object and a background. 8. The method of claim 6 , wherein determining the brightness of the pixels includes applying a brightness threshold on a per-pixel basis. 9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising translating the edges into a motion of the object. 10. The method of claim 9 , further comprising determining an extent of the motion, wherein the motion corresponds to a predetermined gesture of a plurality of gestures, and wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises determining an operational parameter based on the extent of the motion and initiating a function corresponding to the predetermined gesture according to the operational parameter. 11. The method of claim 9 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle is based on the location and the motion of the object. 12. The method of claim 11 , further comprising: determining a confidence level of at least one of the location or the motion of the object is below a threshold; and requesting the person repeat the motion. 13. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises controlling a movement of a window of the vehicle. 14. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises controlling a movement of a seat of the vehicle. 15. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises controlling an opening of a hood or a trunk of the vehicle. 16. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises controlling a selection of music being played in the vehicle. 17. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises controlling a motion or a position of wind shield wipers or a mirror of the vehicle. 18. The method of claim 1 , wherein controlling the operation of the vehicle comprises presenting information or entertainment content. 19. The method of claim 1 , wherein detecting the edges of the object includes determining whether a background region or an object region meets a minimum size requirement.
