What is claimed: 1. A storage container comprising: a housing having a dispensing opening for dispensing small piece goods; a separating device disposed in the housing and comprising at least one channel configured to receive at least one small piece good; and a holder configured to secure a retainer against a concurrent rotation with the separating device and to align the retainer with the dispensing opening by the holder interacting with the housing. 2. The storage container of claim 1 , wherein the holder is a lug configured to engage with an opening in the housing. 3. The storage container of claim 1 , further comprising a holding assembly arranged in the housing, the holding assembly comprising an opening in which the holder is configured to engage. 4. The storage container of claim 3 , wherein the holding assembly comprises a guide and a slide movably disposed in the guide. 5. The storage container of claim 4 , wherein the guide engages both a radial inner surface of the slide and a radial outer surface of the slide to fix the slide radially with respect to the separating device. 6. The storage container of claim 4 , wherein the slide is adjustable within the guide. 7. The storage container of claim 1 , further comprising: a positioner comprising two ring sections each configured to engage in a groove of the separating device. 8. The storage container of claim 7 , wherein the ring sections each comprise one of: a recess configured to facilitate a spreading of the ring sections; and a projection disposed on an inside surface of the ring section, wherein the projections abut a vertical wall of the groove. 9. The storage container of claim 7 , wherein the ring sections are configured to touch one another at end regions. 10. The storage container of claim 7 , wherein the ring sections and a retaining section of the retainer fill the groove and are configured to prevent dust from drug portions from being deposited in the groove. 11. A storage container comprising: a housing having a dispensing opening for dispensing small piece goods; a separating device disposed in the housing and comprising at least one channel configured to receive at least one small piece good; and a positioner configured to engage with an annular groove of the separating device and to fix a retainer vertically with respect to the separating device. 12. The storage container of claim 11 , wherein the positioner comprises two ring sections each configured to engage in the annular groove of the separating device. 13. The storage container of claim 12 , wherein the ring sections each comprise a recess configured to facilitate a spreading of the ring sections. 14. The storage container of claim 12 , wherein the ring sections each comprise a projection disposed on an inside surface of the ring section. 15. The storage container of claim 14 , wherein the projections abut a vertical wall of the groove. 16. The storage container of claim 12 , wherein the ring sections are configured to touch one another at end regions. 17. The storage container of claim 12 , wherein the ring sections and a retaining section of a retainer fill the groove, wherein the ring sections and the retaining section are configured to prevent dust from drug portions from being deposited in the groove. 18. The storage container of claim 11 , further comprising: a holder configured to secure the retainer against a concurrent rotation with the separating device and to align the retainer with the dispensing opening by the holder interacting with the housing. 19. The storage container of claim 18 , further comprising a holding assembly arranged in the housing and having an opening in which the holder is configured to engage, the holding assembly comprising a guide and a slide movably disposed in the guide, wherein one of: the guide engages both a radial inner surface of the slide and a radial outer surface of the slide to fix the slide radially with respect to the separating device; and the slide is adjustable within the guide. 20. A system having a plurality of storage containers, at least one storage container comprising: a housing having a dispensing opening for dispensing small piece goods; a separating device disposed in the housing and comprising at least one channel configured to receive at least one small piece good; and one of: a holder configured to secure a retainer against a concurrent rotation with the separating device and to align the retainer with the dispensing opening by the holder interacting with the housing; and a positioner configured to engage with an annular groove of the separating device and to fix a retainer vertically with respect to the separating device.
