Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A cleaner system includes: a cleaner which includes a dust bin having one openable side thereof; and a cleaner station on which the cleaner is mounted. The cleaner includes: a first discharge cover which covers a portion of the open side of the dust bin; and a second discharge cover which covers the rest portion of the open side of the dust bin. The cleaner station includes a dust collection motor which generates a suction force sucking dust within the dust bin. Therefore, the suction force of the dust collection motor is concentrated by opening the second discharge cover first, so that adsorbed small dust is more easily sucked. Large dust is sucked by opening the first discharge cover after the small dust is sufficiently sucked, so that dust is efficiently discharged under the general power of the dust collection motor.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. A cleaner system comprising: a cleaner comprising: a dust bin having an open side, a first discharge cover configured to cover a first portion of the open side of the dust bin, and a second discharge cover disposed at a center of the first discharge cover and configured to cover a second portion of the open side of the dust bin; and a cleaner station configured to mount the cleaner, the cleaner station comprising a dust collection motor configured to generate a suction force for drawing dust out of the dust bin of the cleaner. 2. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the cleaner further comprises: a suction portion configured to receive air and dust from an outside of the cleaner; a first dust separator that defines a first part of an inner space of the dust bin and is in fluid communication with the suction portion and the first portion of the open side of the dust bin; and a second dust separator that defines a second part of the inner space of the dust bin and is in fluid communication with the first dust separator and the second portion of the open side of the dust bin, the second dust separator being disposed downstream of the first dust separator, wherein the first discharge cover is configured to cover the first dust separator, and wherein the second discharge cover is configured to cover the second dust separator. 3. The cleaner system of claim 2 , wherein the first dust separator is disposed at an outer circumference of the second dust separator. 4. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the first discharge cover defines a through-hole, and wherein the second discharge cover is disposed at the through-hole of the first discharge cover. 5. The cleaner system of claim 4 , wherein the first discharge cover has a circular shape. 6. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the first discharge cover comprises a first hinge configured to be disposed a top of the first discharge cover based on the cleaner being mounted on the cleaner station. 7. The cleaner system of claim 6 , wherein the first discharge cover is configured to rotate upward about the first hinge to thereby open the dust bin, the first hinge defining a rotational axis of the first discharge cover. 8. The cleaner system of claim 6 , further comprising a first elastic member disposed at the first hinge and configured to provide an elastic force to the first discharge cover in a direction away from the open side of the dust bin. 9. The cleaner system of claim 6 , wherein the first discharge cover comprises a coupling lever configured to be disposed below the first discharge cover based on the cleaner being mounted on the cleaner station. 10. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the second discharge cover is configured to open in a direction away from the dust bin. 11. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the second discharge cover comprises a second hinge configured to be disposed at a top of the second discharge cover based on the cleaner being mounted on the cleaner station. 12. The cleaner system of claim 11 , wherein the second discharge cover is configured to rotate upward about the second hinge to open the dust bin, the second hinge defining a rotational axis of the second discharge cover. 13. The cleaner system of claim 11 , wherein the cleaner further comprises a second elastic member disposed at the second hinge and configured to provide an elastic force to the second discharge cover in a direction toward the dust bin. 14. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the second discharge cover is made of an elastic material. 15. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the dust bin is configured to be disposed above the dust collection motor based on the cleaner being mounted on the cleaner station. 16. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein the first discharge cover is configured to, based on the cleaner being mounted on the cleaner station, define a plane perpendicular to a ground that supports the cleaner station. 17. The cleaner system of claim 1 , wherein an area of the first portion of the open side of the dust bin is larger than an area of the second portion of the open side of the dust bin. 18. A cleaner system comprising: a cleaner; and a cleaner station configured to mount the cleaner, wherein the cleaner comprises: a dust bin having an open side, the open side of the dust bin being configured to, based on the cleaner being mounted on the cleaner station, defined a plane perpendicular to a ground that supports the cleaner station, a first discharge cover configured to cover a first portion of the open side of the dust bin, and a second discharge cover disposed at a center of the first discharge cover and configured to cover a second portion of the open side of the dust bin, and wherein the cleaner station comprises a dust collection motor configured to generate a suction force for drawing dust out of the dust bin of the cleaner. 19. A cleaner comprising: a suction portion configured to receive air and dust from an outside of the cleaner; a dust bin having an open side; a first dust separator that is disposed within the dust bin and in fluid communication with the suction portion; a second dust separator that is disposed downstream of the first dust separator and in fluid communication with the first dust separator; a first discharge cover configured to cover a first portion of the open side of the dust bin, the first portion of the open side of the dust bin being in fluid communication with the first dust separator; and a second discharge cover coupled to the first discharge cover by a hinge and configured to cover a second portion of the open side of the dust bin, the second portion of the open side of the dust bin being in fluid communication with the second dust separator.
