An aim of the present disclosure is to provide a method for producing a fluoroalkoxide, said method being more useful than conventional methods, and the like. The aim can be achieved by a method for producing a compound represented by the following formula (1):(wherein R1 is a fluoroalkyl group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, or a fluoroalkoxy group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, andeach R2 is identical to or different from each other and is a hydrocarbon group),the method comprising the step of reactinga compound represented by the following formula (2):with a compound represented by the following formula (3):⊖F⊕NR2)4 (3).

The invention claimed is: 1. A composition comprising a compound represented by formula (1): wherein R 1 is a fluoroalkyl group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, or a fluoroalkoxy group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, and each R 2 is identical to or different from each other and is a hydrocarbon group, and a compound represented by formula (4): wherein R a is a fluoroalkyl group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, or a fluoroalkoxy group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, and each R b is identical to or different from each other and is a hydrocarbon group, wherein R 1 is not CF 3 , C 2 F 5 , or C 3 F 7 , and R a is not CF 3 , C 2 F 5 , or C 3 F 7 , and wherein when the sum of the content of the compound represented by formula (1) and the content of the compound represented by formula (4) is defined as 100%, the content of the compound represented by formula (1) is 70-95% in terms of molar ratio. 2. The composition according to claim 1 , wherein each R 2 is identical to or different from each other and is alkyl, and each R b is identical to or different from each other and is alkyl. 3. The composition according to claim 1 , wherein each R 2 is identical to or different from each other and is C 1 -4 alkyl, and each R b is identical to or different from each other and is C 1 -4 alkyl. 4. The composition according to claim 1 wherein all R 2 s are methyl, and all R b s are methyl. 5. The composition according to claim 1 , wherein R 1 is a perfluoro-C 4-8 alkyl group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, or a perfluoro-C 1-8 alkoxy group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, and R a is a perfluoro-C 4-8 alkyl group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms, or a perfluoro-C 1-8 alkoxy group optionally containing an oxygen atom between carbon atoms. 6. A fluoroalkoxylating agent comprising the composition of claim 1 .
