What is claimed is: 1. A penile implant, comprising: a base portion; an extending portion including a first member and a second member, the first member defining a cavity, the extending portion being configured to be placed in a first configuration and a second configuration, the extending portion having a first length when the extending portion is in the first configuration, the extending portion having a second length when the extending portion is in the second configuration, the second length being greater than the first length, wherein the first member of the extending portion includes a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion, the second member of the extending portion includes an engagement portion, the engagement portion of the second member of the extending portion being configured to engage the first engagement portion of the first member of the extending portion when the extending portion is in the first configuration, the engagement portion of the second member of the extending portion being configured to engage the second engagement portion of the first member of the extending portion when the extending portion is in the second configuration; and an articulating portion configured to be placed in a curved configuration and a substantially linear configuration, wherein the extending portion is disposed between the base portion and the articulating portion. 2. The penile implant of claim 1 , wherein the base portion is coupled to the extending portion and the extending portion is coupled to the articulating portion. 3. The penile implant of claim 1 , wherein the first member of the extending portion is movably coupled to the second member of the extending portion. 4. The penile implant of claim 1 , wherein the first member of the extending portion is slidably coupled to the second member of the extending portion. 5. The penile implant of claim 1 , wherein the first engagement portion of the first member includes a spring, the second engagement portion of the first member includes a spring, and the engagement portion of the second member includes a recess. 6. The penile implant of claim 1 , wherein the articulating portion includes a first member and a second member, the first member of the articulating portion being movably coupled to the second member of the articulating portion. 7. The penile implant of claim 1 , wherein the articulating portion includes a plurality of members configured to move with respect to one another. 8. The penile implant of claim 1 , further comprising: an outer sheath. 9. The penile implant of claim 1 , further comprising: an outer sheath, the outer sheath housing the base portion, the extending portion, and the articulating portion. 10. A penile implant, comprising: a base portion; an extending portion including a first member and a second member, the extending portion being configured to be placed in a first configuration and a second configuration, the extending portion having a first length when the extending portion is in the first configuration, the extending portion having a second length when the extending portion is in the second configuration, the second length being greater than the first length, the first member of the extending portion including a first engagement portion and a second engagement portion, the second member of the extending portion including a recess, the recess of the second member of the extending portion being configured to engage the first engagement portion when the extending portion is in the first configuration, the recess of the second member of the extending portion being configured to engage the second engagement portion when the extending portion is in the second configuration; and an articulating portion having a first member and a second member, the first member of the articulating portion being configured to move with respect to the second member of the articulating portion, wherein the extending portion is disposed between the base portion and the articulating portion. 11. The penile implant of claim 10 , wherein the first member of the extending portion is movably coupled to the second member of the extending portion. 12. The penile implant of claim 10 , wherein the first member of the extending portion is slidably coupled to the second member of the extending portion. 13. The penile implant of claim 10 , wherein the first engagement portion of the first member of the extending portion includes a spring. 14. The penile implant of claim 10 , wherein the recess of the second member of the extending portion is a first recess, and wherein the second member of the extending portion includes a second recess. 15. The penile implant of claim 10 , further comprising: an outer sheath.
