A distraction frame includes a table mount for removably mounting the distraction frame to a surgical table; at least one horizontal strut mounted to the table mount; at least one vertical strut mounted to the at least one horizontal strut; and at least one distractor mounted to the at least one vertical strut, wherein the at least one distractor is configured for connection to a limb of a patient and for applying a distraction force to the limb of the patient; wherein the table mount comprises at least one wheel for selectively supporting the table mount above the floor and the at least one horizontal strut comprises at least one caster for selectively rollably supporting the at least one horizontal strut on the floor so that the distraction frame can be selectively moved to the surgical table supported by the at least one wheel and the at least one caster.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method comprising: rolling a distraction frame across a floor to a surgical table on at least one wheel of a table mount of the distraction frame and at least one caster of a vertical strut of the distraction frame, the at least one caster being connected to the table mount via at least one horizontal strut; and positioning the table mount for removably mounting to the surgical table; and selectively disengaging the at least one wheel and the at least one caster from the floor, wherein selectively disengaging the at least one wheel from the floor comprises retracting the at least one wheel so that a surface of the table mount seats on the floor. 2. The method of claim 1 , comprising, after selectively disengaging the at least one wheel from the floor, lowering at least one foot of the surgical table onto the table mount. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein positioning the table mount for removably mounting to the surgical table comprises positioning at least one bracket of the table mount beneath at least one foot of the surgical table. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein selectively disengaging the at least one caster from the floor comprises extending at least one support of the at least one horizontal strut so that the at least one caster is not in contact with the floor. 5. The method of claim 4 , comprising adjusting a length of the at least one support of the at least one horizontal strut. 6. The method of claim 4 , comprising retracting the at least support of the at least one horizontal strut into a portion of the at least one horizontal strut to engage the at least one caster with the floor. 7. The method of claim 4 , wherein the at least one horizontal strut comprises a pedal configured to translate the at least one support of the at least one horizontal strut between an extended position and a retracted position. 8. The method of claim 1 , comprising: positioning the patient on the surgical table, connecting the limb of the patient to at least one distractor of the distraction frame, and applying a distraction force to the limb of the patient using the at least one distractor. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein selectively disengaging the at least one wheel from the floor comprises retracting the at least one wheel into a portion of the table mount. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one wheel is disengaged from the floor using one or more levers. 11. The method of claim 1 , comprising pivoting the at least one horizontal strut relative to the table mount. 12. The method of claim 1 , comprising telescopically adjusting a length of the at least one horizontal strut. 13. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one horizontal strut comprises a gas cylinder to counterbalance at least a portion of the weight of the at least one horizontal strut and/or at least a portion of the weight carried by the at least one horizontal strut. 14. The method of claim 1 , comprising moving the at least one vertical strut along the at least one horizontal strut. 15. The method of claim 1 , comprising telescopically adjusting a length of the at least one vertical strut. 16. The method of claim 1 , wherein the at least one vertical strut comprises a gas cylinder to counterbalance at least a portion of the weight of the at least one vertical strut and/or at least a portion of the weight carried by the at least one vertical strut.
