Selected types of information are collected from various sources and a portion thereof transmitted to a remote server. The remote server dynamically compiles and processes this data with information from other similar and separate sources and provides useful and relevant information, such as vehicle and location specific road maintenance radar, forecasts and treatment recommendations, and then transmits the data back to the vehicles in the field for one or more of the appropriate deployment of equipment, instructions and the automated or manual application of materials.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method comprising: receiving road and weather conditions data from a plurality of sources, wherein said sources are selected from the group comprising a remote mobile source located in a snow maintenance vehicle, a remote stationary source located adjacent to a roadway, a video feed, a data feed or another information management system; normalizing or synchronizing the received data to a common time; analyzing the received data by at least one of an intelligent agent, an expert system, or an information management system; providing results of the analysis to one or more destinations, wherein at least one of the destinations is a snow maintenance vehicle. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein one or more of the results and instructions and additional data are forwarded to a remote destination. 3. The method of claim 2 , where the results are pushed to the remote destination. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the results are pushed automatically. 5. The method of claim 3 , wherein the results are pushed manually. 6. The method of claim 2 , wherein the results are pulled by the remote destination. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein the results are pulled automatically. 8. The method of claim 6 , wherein the results are pulled manually. 9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising making a determination whether to start streaming of information. 10. The method of claim 1 , further comprising selecting a configuration option that allows a user to manage and configure one or more of the information management system and an information delivery system. 11. The method of claim 10 , wherein entry to the configuration option is user-centric and one or more of password and security level regulated.
