What is claimed is: 1. A computer-implemented method comprising: obtaining, with at least one processor, from a medication information source, medication identification information associated with a first medication container; obtaining, with at least one processor, from at least one additional medication information source, additional medication information; and generating, with at least one processor, based on the medication identification information and the additional medication information, encoded medication identification information for encoding an identifier associated with a second medication container, wherein the obtaining the additional medication information further includes: obtaining, with at least one processor, from a fluid composition sensor, medication composition information associated with one or more fluid constituents and relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents contained in the first medication container, wherein the encoded medication identification information is further generated based on the medication composition information, and wherein the method further comprises: measuring, with the fluid composition sensor, the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents contained in the first medication container. 2. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the medication identification information includes the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents contained in the first medication container, the method further comprising: verifying, with at least one processor, based on the medication composition information and the medication identification information, that the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents included in the medication identification information matches the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents included in the medication composition information. 3. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining, from at least one additional medication information source, the additional medication information further includes: receiving, with at least one processor, via a user interface, a user selection of a data set of a plurality of data sets stored in an electronic database; and obtaining, with at least one processor, the user selected data set from the electronic database, wherein the encoded medication identification information is further generated based on the user selected data set. 4. The computer-implemented method of claim 3 , wherein the user selected data set includes at least one of the following: a formulary, a drug library, an industry standard drug vocabulary, or any combination thereof. 5. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining, from at least one additional medication information source, the additional medication information further includes: obtaining, with at least one processor, system medication information associated with a patient medication order including at least one of the following: a medication filling request, patient-specific information, medication administration instructions, or any combination thereof, wherein the encoded medication identification information is further generated based on the system medication information. 6. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining, from at least one additional medication information source, the additional medication information further includes: receiving, with at least one processor, from a peripheral medication device used to fill the first medication container, medication filling information associated with the first medication container, wherein the encoded medication information is further generated based on the medication filling information. 7. The computer-implemented method of claim 6 , further comprising: filling, with the peripheral medication device, the first medication container with a medication; in response to filling the first medication container with the medication, automatically transmitting, with the peripheral medication device, to at least one processor external to the peripheral medication device, the medication filling information. 8. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein the medication identification information includes the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents contained in the first medication container, the method further comprising: obtaining, with at least one processor, from the fluid composition sensor, further medication composition information associated with one or more fluid constituents and relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents contained in the second medication container; and verifying, with at least one processor, based on the further medication composition information and the medication identification information, that the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents included in the medication identification information matches the one or more fluid constituents and the relative concentrations of the one or more fluid constituents included in the further medication composition information. 9. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , further comprising: writing, with a writer device, the encoded medication identification information to an identifier associated with the second medication container. 10. The computer-implemented method of claim 9 , wherein writer device includes an RFID writer, and wherein the identifier includes an RFID tag. 11. The computer-implemented method of claim 1 , wherein obtaining, from at least one additional medication information source, the additional medication information further includes: receiving, via a user interface, a user selection of a data set of a plurality of data sets stored in an electronic database; obtaining the user selected data set from the electronic database, wherein the encoded medication identification information is further generated based on the user selected data set; obtaining system medication information associated with a patient medication order including at least one of the following: a medication filling request, patient-specific information, medication administration instructions, or any combination thereof, wherein the encoded medication identification information is further generated based on the system medication information; and receiving, from a peripheral medication device used to fill the first medication container, medication filling information associated with the first medication container, wherein the encoded medication information is further generated based on the medication filling information. 12. A system comprising: one or more processors programmed and/or configured to: obtain, from a medication information source, medication identification information associated with a first medication container; obtain, from at least one additional medication information source, additional medication information; and generate, based on the medication identification information and the additional medication information, encoded medication identification information for encoding an identifier associated with a second medication container, wherein the one or more processors are further programmed and/or configured obtain, from the at least one additional medication information source, the additional medication information by: obtaining, from a fluid composition sensor, medic
