Methods and systems are described herein for providing streamlined access to media assets of interest to a user. The method includes determining that a supplemental viewing device, through which a user views a field of view, is directed at a first field of view. The method further involves detecting that the supplemental viewing device is now directed at a second field of view, and determining that a media consumption device is within the second field of view. A first media asset of interest to the user that is available for consumption via the media consumption device is identified, and the supplemental viewing device generates a visual indication in the second field of view. The visual indication indicates that the first media asset is available for consumption via the media consumption device, and the visual indication tracks a location of the media consumption device in the second field of view.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: receiving, by a headwear electronic device, an image of a field of view; detecting a supplemental viewing device at a first location in the received field of view of the headwear electronic device; based on detecting the supplemental viewing device: transmitting, by the headwear electronic device, a request for information relating to media assets available for consumption via the supplemental viewing device; receiving, by the headwear electronic device, the information relating to a plurality of media assets available for consumption via the supplemental viewing device; identifying from the received information, an identifier of a media asset of interest, from the plurality of media assets, that is available for consumption via the supplemental viewing device; overlaying a visual indication on the supplemental viewing device at the first location, wherein the visual indication indicates the availability of a media asset of interest; detecting a relocation of the supplemental viewing device from the first location to a second location within the field of view of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the detecting the relocation: receiving, by the headwear electronic device, a second image of a field of view with includes the supplemental viewing device relocated to the second location; and overlaying the visual indication on the supplemental viewing device at the second location, wherein in response to receiving an input associated with the visual indication via the headwear electronic device, the media asset of interest is displayed at the supplemental viewing device. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: detecting a movement of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the detecting the movement of the headwear electronic device, tracking the supplemental viewing device. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in response to the detecting the relocation: continually obtaining images of the field of view; determining, based on the obtained images, whether the supplemental viewing device is still within the field of view; and in response to determining that the supplemental viewing device is still within the field of view, overlaying the visual indication on the supplemental viewing device at the second location. 4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the tracking is performed continuously relative to the field of view. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein overlaying the visual indication on the supplemental viewing device comprises generating the overlay such that the overlay appears overlaid over a display of the supplemental viewing device. 6. The method of claim 5 , wherein the overlay is adjusted to fit the display of the supplemental viewing device. 7. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: detecting the relocation of the supplemental viewing device from the first location to a third location; determining that the third location is outside the field of view of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the determination, generating an audio indication on the headwear electronic device. 8. The method of claim 7 , wherein the audio indication indicates that the third location is outside the field of view of the headwear electronic device. 9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: detecting the relocation of the supplemental viewing device from the first location to a third location; determining that the third location is outside the field of view of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the determination, generating a visual indication on the headwear electronic device. 10. The method of claim 9 , wherein the visual indication is an arrow that points in a direction of the third location. 11. A system comprising: communication circuitry configured to access a headwear electronic device; and control circuitry configured to: receive an image of a field of view; detect a supplemental viewing device at a first location in the received field of view of the headwear electronic device; based on detecting the supplemental viewing device: transmit a request, by the headwear electronic device, for information relating to media assets available for consumption via the supplemental viewing device; receive, by the headwear electronic device, the information relating to a plurality of media assets available for consumption via the supplemental viewing device; identify from the received information an identifier of a media asset of interest, from the plurality of media assets, that is available for consumption via the supplemental viewing device; overlay a visual indication on the supplemental viewing device at the first location, wherein the visual indication indicates the availability of a media asset of interest; detect a relocation of the supplemental viewing device from the first location to a second location within the field of view of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the detecting the relocation: receive a second image of a field of view with includes the supplemental viewing device relocated to the second location; and overlay the visual indication on the supplemental viewing device at the second location, wherein in response to receiving an input associated with the visual indication via the headwear electronic device, the media asset of interest is displayed at the supplemental viewing device. 12. The system of claim 11 , further comprising, the control circuitry configured to: detect a movement of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the detecting the movement of the headwear electronic device, track the supplemental viewing device. 13. The system of claim 11 , further comprising, the control circuitry configured to: in response to the detecting the relocation: continually obtain images of the field of view; determine, based on the obtained images, whether the supplemental viewing device is still within the field of view; and in response to determining that the supplemental viewing device is still within the field of view, overlay the visual indication on the supplemental viewing device at the second location. 14. The system of claim 12 , wherein the tracking is performed by the control circuitry continuously relative to the field of view. 15. The system of claim 11 , wherein overlaying the visual indication on the supplemental viewing device comprises, the control circuitry configured to generate the overlay such that the overlay appears overlaid over a display of the supplemental viewing device. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the overlay is adjusted by the control circuitry to fit the display of the supplemental viewing device. 17. The system of claim 11 , further comprising, the control circuitry configured to: detect the relocation of the supplemental viewing device from the first location to a third location; determine that the third location is outside the field of view of the headwear electronic device; and in response to the determination, generate an audio indication on the headwear electronic device. 18. The system of claim 17 , wherein the audio indication indicates that the third location is outside the field of view of the headwear electronic device. 19. The system of claim 11 , further comprising, the control circuitry configured to: detect the relocation of the supplemental viewing device from the first location to a third location; determine that the third location is outside the field of view of the h
