Official abstract text for this publication.
A method performed by a WTRU may comprise receiving a plurality of LBT configurations associated with one or more of a beam, a BWP, a LCH, a set of LBT parameters, a transmission type or an LBT subband. The method may further comprise receiving an indication to transmit using a first LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. An attempt to acquire a channel may then be made using the first LBT configuration. The indication to transmit may additionally indicate a second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations. Data may be transmitted on the channel when the attempt to acquire the channel is successful. An attempt to acquire the channel using the second LBT configuration of the plurality of LBT configurations may be made when the attempt to acquire the channel using the first LBT configuration fails.

What is claimed is: 1. A method performed by a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) configured with an initial bandwidth part (BWP) and a second BWP, the method comprising: determining that the WTRU is unable to acquire a channel in the second BWP in time to enable transmission in a number of symbols, wherein an attempt to acquire the channel in the second BWP is based on a listen before talk (LBT) procedure in the second BWP; switching to operate in the initial BWP, based on a plurality of LBT procedures in the second BWP part; determining that the WTRU is unable to acquire a channel in the initial BWP, wherein an attempt to acquire the channel in in the initial BWP is based on an LBT procedure in the initial BWP; and triggering a radio link failure (RLF) based on a plurality of LBT procedures in the initial BWP. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: transmitting a notification that the initial BWP is unavailable. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the notification is transmitted to at least one of a base station, transmission/reception point (TRP), or another WTRU. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the initial BWP is associated with a first logical channel (LCH). 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the number of symbols is based on a contention window (CW) size. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the triggering of the RLF further includes exceeding a threshold associated with a total elapsed time from the plurality of the LBT procedures. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second BWP is associated with a second logical channel (LCH). 8. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU), configured with an initial bandwidth part (BWP) and a second BWP, the WTRU comprising: a transceiver; and a processor, wherein the transceiver and the processor are configured to: operate in the second BWP; determine that the WTRU is unable to acquire a channel in the BWP in time to enable transmission in a number of symbols, wherein an attempt to acquire the channel in the second BWP is based on a LBT (listen before talk) procedure in the second BWP; switch to operate in the initial BWP, based on a plurality of LBT procedures in the second BWP part; determine that the WTRU is unable to acquire a channel in the initial BWP, wherein an attempt to acquire the channel in in the initial BWP is based on an LBT procedure in the initial BWP; and trigger a radio link failure (RLF) based on a plurality of LBT procedures in the initial BWP. 9. The WTRU of claim 8 , further comprising: transmit a notification that the initial BWP is unavailable. 10. The WTRU of claim 9 , wherein the transceiver is further configured to transmit the notification to at least one of a base station, a transmission/reception point (TRP), or another WTRU. 11. The WTRU of claim 8 , wherein the initial BWP is associated with a first logical channel (LCH). 12. The WTRU of claim 8 , wherein the number of symbols is based on a contention window (CW) size. 13. The WTRU of claim 8 , wherein the triggering of the RLF further includes exceeding a threshold associated with a total elapsed time from the plurality of the LBT procedures. 14. The WTRU of claim 8 , wherein the second BWP is associated with a second logical channel (LCH).
