What is claimed is: 1. A railcar comprising: a longitudinally extending railcar frame with first and second opposed ends; a pair of side walls extending the longitudinal length of the railcar and secured to the frame on opposed sides of the railcar, the side walls having a first interior surface and a second exterior surface; a removable cover assembly comprising a removable bilevel roof including a first section having a first height, a second section having a second height, and a third section having a third height, wherein the second section is between the first section and the third section, wherein the second height is less than the first height and the second height is less than the third height, and the first section and the third section are proximate the first and second ends of the railcar frame; and a plurality of troughs along the railcar frame for transporting a metal coil in each trough, each trough comprising: (a) a first inner coil receiving plate with laterally opposed side edges and longitudinally opposed end edges, the first inner coil receiving plate having an inner surface and an outer face; (b) a second inner coil receiving plate with laterally opposed side edges and longitudinally opposed end edges, the second inner coil receiving plate having an inner face and an outer face; and (c) a stiffener substantially coupled to the outer face of each of the first and second inner coil receiving plates and substantially coupled to the first interior surface of a side wall and the first interior surface of an opposite side wall; wherein, each trough is welded to the first interior surfaces of the side walls. 2. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein the first inner coil receiving plate and second inner coil receiving plate are articulated generally away from a center sill. 3. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein a cap spans between one of the laterally opposed side edges of the second inner coil receiving plate and laterally opposed side edges of the same side of the first inner coil receiving plate of an immediately adjacent trough. 4. The railcar of claim 3 , wherein the cap provides a closure between a side of the first inner coil receiving plate and the same side of a second inner coil receiving plate of an immediately adjacent trough. 5. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein the railcar frame is supported at the first and second opposed ends by a truck, each truck further comprising four wheels. 6. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein each side wall at the opposed ends extends upwardly to provide space for a truck. 7. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein one of the troughs at the first end of the frame has a greater span than an adjacent one of the troughs. 8. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein one of the troughs at the second end of the frame has a greater span than an immediately adjacent one of the troughs. 9. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein at least one of the inner coil troughs is supported by a T-shaped support member. 10. The railcar of claim 1 , further comprising an anti-deformation plate to provide support to the stiffener. 11. The railcar of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of troughs comprise at least one trough of a first width at the first end and at least one trough of the same first width at a second end, which is opposite the first end and a plurality of troughs of a second width disposed between the troughs of the first width, and wherein the first width is greater than the second width. 12. The railcar of claim 11 , wherein the railcar further includes a lift member, which is secured to a top surface of the removable bilevel roof.
