There is disclosed a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network. The method includes transmitting communication signaling on a transmission resource, the transmission resource being one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the transmission resource being determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a control information message received by the wireless device. The disclosure also pertains to related devices and methods.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network, the method comprising: transmitting communication signaling on a transmission resource, the transmission resource being one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the transmission resource being determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a control information message received by the wireless device, the control information message indicating a prioritisation of the first transmission resource relative to the second transmission resource. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the transmission resource is determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a signaling characteristic of the control information message. 3. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the transmission resource is determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on bit pattern of a bit field in the control information message. 4. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first transmission resource is available to the wireless device by being dynamically scheduled to the wireless device. 5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the second transmission resource is available to the wireless device by being configured to the wireless device. 6. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the communication signaling comprises at least one of control signaling and data signaling. 7. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the information transmitted with the communication signaling is dependent on at least one of the transmission resource and the received control information message. 8. The method according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of: the first transmission resource is associated to transmission of control information; and the second transmission resource is associated to transmission of control information. 9. The method according to claim 1 , wherein the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource are associated to at least one of different types of signaling and different types of control signaling. 10. A wireless device for a wireless communication network, the wireless device being configured to: transmit communication signaling on a transmission resource, the transmission resource being one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the transmission resource being determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a control information message received by the wireless device, the control information message indicating a prioritisation of the first transmission resource relative to the second transmission resource. 11. A method of operating a network node in a wireless communication network, the method comprising transmitting a control information message to a wireless device, the control information message indicating a transmission resource for the wireless device to be one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the control information message indicating a prioritisation of the first transmission resource relative to the second transmission resource. 12. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the transmission resource is determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a signaling characteristic of the control information message. 13. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the transmission resource is determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on bit pattern of a bit field in the control information message. 14. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the first transmission resource is available to the wireless device by being dynamically scheduled to the wireless device. 15. The method according to claim 11 wherein the second transmission resource is available to the wireless device by being configured to the wireless device. 16. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the communication signaling comprises at least one of control signaling and data signaling. 17. The method according to claim 11 , wherein the information transmitted with the communication signaling is dependent on at least one of the transmission resource and the received control information message. 18. A network node for a wireless communication network, the network node being configured to: transmit a control information message to a wireless device, the control information message indicating a transmission resource for the wireless device to be one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the control information message indicating a prioritisation of the first transmission resource relative to the second transmission resource. 19. A non-transitory computer storage medium storing an executable computer program comprising instructions configured to cause processing circuitry to at least one of control and perform a method of operating a wireless device in a wireless communication network, the method comprising: transmitting communication signaling on a transmission resource, the transmission resource being one of at least a first transmission resource and a second transmission resource available to the wireless device, the first transmission resource and the second transmission resource at least partially overlapping in time, the transmission resource being determined to be the first transmission resource or the second transmission resource based on a control information message received by the wireless device, the control information message indicating a prioritisation of the first transmission resource relative to the second transmission resource.
