A spectroscopic assembly may include a spectrometer. The spectrometer may include an illumination source to generate a light to illuminate a sample. The spectrometer may include a sensor to obtain a spectroscopic measurement based on light, reflected by the sample, from the light illuminating the sample. The spectroscopic assembly may include a light pipe to transfer the light reflected from the sample. The light pipe may include a first opening to receive the spectrometer. The light pipe may include a second opening to receive the sample, such that the sample is enclosed by the light pipe and a base surface when the sample is received at the second opening. The light pipe may be associated with aligning the illumination source and the sensor with the sample.

What is claimed is: 1. A system comprising: a light pipe; a sample pipe configured to direct a sample through a cavity of the light pipe; and a spectrometer configured to perform a spectroscopic measurement when the sample is directed through the sample pipe and aligned with the spectrometer, wherein the light pipe is configured to enclose a portion of the spectrometer in the cavity. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the light pipe includes a first opening and a second opening through which the sample pipe is directed. 3. The system of claim 2 , wherein the first opening and the second opening include one or more seals configured to ensure a substantial seal around the sample pipe and cause the sample to be aligned with the spectrometer. 4. The system of claim 1 , further comprising: a cap positioned to enclose a section of the sample pipe within the light pipe. 5. The system of claim 4 , wherein the cap is an optical diffusor cap or an optical reflector cap. 6. The system of claim 1 , wherein the sample pipe is a glass pipe or a plastic pipe that is transparent in a spectral range corresponding to the spectroscopic measurement. 7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the sample pipe includes: a transparent lower portion, and a frosted upper portion, wherein the transparent lower portion is relatively closer to the spectrometer than the frosted upper portion. 8. The system of claim 1 , wherein the sample pipe comprises: a transparent lower portion; and a frosted upper portion. 9. A system comprising: a light pipe; a cap configured to be inserted into the light pipe; a sample pipe configured to direct a sample through the cap and a cavity of the light pipe; and a spectrometer configured to perform a spectroscopic measurement when the sample is directed through the sample pipe and aligned with the spectrometer. 10. The system of claim 9 , wherein the cap includes a first opening, a flow cell void, and a second opening, wherein the sample pipe is directed into the cap via the first opening, wherein the sample is directed toward the second opening via the flow cell void, and wherein the sample exits the flow cell void into the sample pipe via the second opening. 11. The system of claim 9 , wherein the cap includes a window configured to permit light to be directed from the spectrometer to the sample via the light pipe. 12. The system of claim 9 , wherein the cap includes a reflective surface that causes light directed to the sample to be reflected toward the spectrometer. 13. The system of claim 9 , wherein the cap includes a flow cell void through which the sample is directed. 14. The system of claim 9 , wherein the sample is a liquid sample or a solvent sample. 15. The system of claim 9 , wherein the cap includes: a flow cell void, and a window configured to provide a seal of the flow cell void. 16. A system comprising: a light pipe that includes a first opening, a cavity, and a second opening; a sample pipe that includes a glass pipe or a plastic pipe, wherein at least a portion of the sample pipe is in the cavity, and wherein the first opening and the second opening includes one or more seals that form a seal around the sample pipe; and a spectrometer configured to perform spectroscopic measurements when a sample is directed through the sample pipe and aligned with the spectrometer, wherein the spectrometer is configured to be inserted into a portion of the cavity. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the sample pipe is configured to direct the sample through the cavity. 18. The system of claim 16 , wherein a portion of the cavity is a first portion of the cavity, and wherein the portion of the sample pipe is inserted into a second portion of the cavity. 19. The system of claim 16 , further comprising: a cap positioned to enclose a section of the sample pipe within the light pipe. 20. The system of claim 19 , wherein the cap is a Teflon optical diffusor cap or an optical reflector cap.
