A pressure relief assembly includes a plurality of valve components and a cap configured to house the valve components. The cap includes a ring having a retaining portion. The pressure relief assembly includes a sensor apparatus coupled to the cap via the ring. The sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The valve components operate to relieve pressure when the predetermined pressure threshold is reached. The sensor apparatus includes a retaining portion engaging the retaining portion of the ring. A valve assembly includes a first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly configured to bypass the first valve apparatus. The valve assembly includes a main housing that surrounds the first valve apparatus and the pressure relief assembly. The main housing defines an aperture in which the cap of the pressure relief assembly is at least partially disposed in the aperture.

What is claimed is: 1. An assembly comprising: a cap defining a chamber configured to house one or more components of the assembly, the cap comprising a first end, a second end spaced from the first end, and a ring having a retaining portion; and a sensor apparatus comprising a retaining portion configured to engage the retaining portion of the ring, wherein the retaining portion of the ring comprises a plurality of eyelets or windows; wherein the retaining portion of the sensor apparatus comprises a plurality of tabs that protrude outwardly from a central body of the sensor apparatus, and wherein the tabs are disposed through the respective eyelets or windows of the ring to secure the sensor apparatus to the cap. 2. The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the sensor apparatus includes a collar that extends outwardly from the central body. 3. The assembly of claim 2 , wherein the sensor apparatus comprises a plug configured to be disposed in a passageway of the cap when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap. 4. The assembly of claim 3 , wherein the sensor apparatus is provided in fluid communication with the passageway when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap, wherein the assembly comprises a pressure relief assembly, and wherein the sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. 5. The assembly of claim 3 , wherein the collar is disposed between the plug and the central body, and wherein the retaining portion of the sensor apparatus is secured to the collar. 6. The assembly of claim 5 , wherein the retaining portion of the ring comprises the plurality of eyelets, wherein each eyelet respectively comprises a cutout in a cross-sectional plane of the cap, and wherein one or more of the plurality of tabs of the sensor apparatus protrude outward from the central body adjacent to the collar to define a gap between the tabs and the collar. 7. The assembly of claim 6 , wherein at least a portion of the ring is disposed in the gap when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap. 8. The assembly of claim 5 , wherein the retaining portion of the ring comprises the plurality of windows, wherein one or more sets of the plurality of windows are oppositely arranged about a central axis of the cap, and wherein each window respectively comprises a cutout in a circumferential curved surface of the ring. 9. The assembly of claim 8 , wherein the plurality of windows includes a pair of windows that oppose each other around the ring and another pair of windows that oppose each other around the ring, wherein the collar includes an outer surface, and wherein the plurality of tabs includes a pair of tabs that oppose each other around the outer surface and another pair of tabs that oppose each other around the outer surface. 10. An assembly comprising: a cap defining a chamber configured to house one or more components of the assembly, the cap comprising a first end, a second end spaced from the first end, and a ring having a retaining portion and defining an opening; and a sensor apparatus comprising a retaining portion configured to engage the retaining portion of the ring, wherein the ring includes an exterior surface spaced from the opening, wherein the exterior surface of the ring includes a loop, wherein the retaining portion of the sensor apparatus includes a hook extending from a central body of the sensor apparatus, and wherein the hook at least partially surrounds the loop to secure the sensor apparatus to the cap. 11. The assembly of claim 10 , wherein the sensor apparatus comprises a plug configured to be disposed in a passageway of the cap when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap, and wherein the sensor apparatus is provided in fluid communication with the passageway when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap. 12. The assembly of claim 11 , wherein the assembly comprises a pressure relief assembly, and wherein the sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. 13. An assembly comprising: a cap defining a chamber configured to house one or more components of the assembly, the cap comprising a first end, a second end spaced from the first end, and a ring having a retaining portion; and a sensor apparatus comprising a retaining portion configured to engage the retaining portion of the ring, wherein the ring includes a platform spaced from the first end of the cap, the platform configured to support the sensor apparatus, wherein the retaining portion of the ring includes a plurality of tabs or fingers that extend from the platform and are spaced from each other, and wherein the plurality of tabs or fingers cooperate with the platform to define a pocket to receive a central body of the sensor apparatus. 14. The assembly of claim 13 , wherein the sensor apparatus comprises a plug configured to be disposed in a passageway of the cap when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap. 15. The assembly of claim 14 , wherein the sensor apparatus is provided in fluid communication with the passageway when the sensor apparatus is secured to the cap, and wherein the assembly comprises a pressure relief assembly, and wherein the sensor apparatus is configured to sense whether a predetermined pressure threshold is reached. 16. The assembly of claim 14 , wherein the retaining portion of the ring includes the plurality of tabs, wherein the retaining portion of the sensor apparatus includes at least one lip that protrudes from the central body, and wherein one or more tabs of the plurality of tabs engage the at least one lip to secure the central body in the pocket. 17.
