What is claimed is: 1. A method, comprising: providing a distraction device, the distraction device including a first member and a second member, a hinge coupled to the first and second members, and a third member coupled to the hinge and manipulable to exert a force on a proximal portion of the second member; coupling a disposable force sensor pod to any of the second or third member of the distraction device; and communicating, by the disposable force sensor pod, information relating to distraction of a joint by the distraction device to a computing system. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising controlling, by the computing system, a robotic device based on the information relating to the distraction of the joint. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving, by the distraction device, the disposable force sensor pod by removably coupling, via a mount of the distraction device, the disposable force sensor pod to the distraction device. 4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising powering the disposable force sensor pod with a power source of the disposable force sensor pod. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein communicating, by the disposable force sensor pod, the information to the computing system comprises establishing a wireless electronic communication. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: measuring, by the disposable force sensor pod, a distraction force applied by the distraction device at a bone of the joint; and wherein communicating, by the disposable force sensor pod, the information relating to the distraction of the joint by the distraction device to the computing system comprises communicating a measurement of the distraction force to the computing system. 7. The method of claim 6 , wherein measuring the distraction force comprises generating, by the disposable force sensor pod, an analog electrical signal indicative of the distraction force; and wherein communicating by the disposable force sensor pod, the information relating to the distraction of the joint by the distraction device to the computing system comprises providing the analog electrical signal to the computing system. 8. The method of claim 6 , further comprising: generating, based on the measurement of the distraction force, a surgical plan; and controlling a robotic device in accordance with the surgical plan. 9. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: providing an additional disposable force sensor pod configured to be removably coupled to the distraction device; and communicating, by the disposable force sensor pod, information relating to distraction of another joint by the distraction device to the computing system.
