An electrode for a lithium secondary battery including LiOH, a method of manufacturing the same, and a lithium secondary battery including said electrode are provided. The electrode for a lithium secondary battery including LiOH is such that a SEI film is efficiently formed on the electrode surface.

The invention claimed is: 1. An electrode for a lithium secondary battery comprising: LiOH, wherein the electrode is a positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery, wherein the positive electrode comprises a sulfur-carbon composite active material, wherein the sulfur-carbon composite active material comprises carbon nanotubes and elemental sulfur, wherein the carbon nanotubes and sulfur are mixed in a weight ratio of 1:1 to 1:9, wherein the sulfur-carbon composite active material is prepared by heat-treating a mixture of LiOH-impregnated carbon nanotubes and elemental sulfur at a temperature of 120 to 200° C., and wherein LiOH is present in an amount of 0.06 parts by weight to 0.15 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of active material. 2. A lithium secondary battery comprising the electrode of claim 1 . 3. The lithium secondary battery according to claim 2 , wherein the battery is a lithium-sulfur battery.
