This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with an outer wrap. In one embodiment, a pipe includes an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. The pipe also includes an outer wrap applied to the outer wall. The outer wrap may include fibers and plastic. The outer wrap may span the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface.

What is claimed is: 1. A pipe, comprising: an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests connected by corrugation valleys, the corrugation crests and valleys forming a continuous cross-section; an outer wrap applied to the corrugated outer wall, the outer wrap spanning the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface; wherein the corrugated outer wall comprises high density polyethylene (HDPE), wherein the outer wrap comprises polypropylene (PP), and wherein the outer wrap is secured to the corrugated outer wall by a tension of the outer wrap. 2. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein pipe comprises a bell at a first end of the bore and integrally formed with the bore; and a spigot at a second end of the bore. 3. The pipe of claim 2 , wherein the outer wrap completely covers the bell and the spigot. 4. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the outer wrap comprises high-density polyethylene (HDPE). 5. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the outer wrap comprises polypropylene (PP). 6. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the plastic of the outer wrap is fused to the outwardly-extending corrugation crests. 7. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein outer wrap is applied in an overlapping helical pattern completely covering the corrugated outer wall. 8. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein: the corrugated outer wall comprises plastic, and the plastic of the corrugated outer wall and the plastic of the outer wrap are welded together. 9. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein: the corrugated outer wall comprises high density polyethylene (HDPE), the outer wrap comprises polypropylene (PP), and the outer wrap is secured to the corrugated outer wall by a friction fit. 10. The pipe of claim 1 , wherein the corrugation crests and the corrugation valleys form annular corrugations. 11. A pipe, comprising: an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests connected by corrugation valleys, the corrugation crests and valleys forming a continuous cross-section; an outer wrap applied to the outer wall, the outer wrap spanning the corrugation crests producing a smooth outer surface; a bell at a first end of the bore and integrally formed with the bore; and a spigot at a second end of the bore, and wherein the corrugated outer wall comprises high density polyethylene (HDPE), wherein the outer wrap comprises polypropylene (PP), and wherein the outer wrap is secured to the corrugated outer wall by a tension of the outer wrap. 12. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein the outer wrap comprises high-density polyethylene (HDPE). 13. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein the outer wrap comprises polypropylene (PP). 14. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein the plastic of the outer wrap is fused to the outwardly-extending corrugation crests. 15. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein outer wrap is applied in an overlapping helical pattern completely covering the corrugated outer wall. 16. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein: the corrugated outer wall comprises plastic, and the plastic of the corrugated outer wall and the plastic of the outer wrap are welded together. 17. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein: the corrugated outer wall comprises high density polyethylene (HDPE), the outer wrap comprises polypropylene (PP), and the outer wrap is secured to the corrugated outer wall by a friction fit. 18. The pipe of claim 11 , wherein the corrugation crests and the corrugation valleys form annular corrugations.
