Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A kit includes artificial lash extensions that attach to an underside of natural eyelashes in an arrangement adjacent to one another. The kit includes a storage case designed to releasably hold the artificial lash extensions, and an applicator having a pair of opposing arms that are joined to each other at a proximal end of each arm. Each arm includes a first section having the proximal end of the arm, a second section positioned between and connected to the first section and a third section of the arm, and the third section having a first end portion and a second end portion. The third section defines a curvature between the first end portion and the second end portion. The third sections of the applicator are designed to grasp artificial hairs of an artificial lash extension of the plurality of artificial lash extensions.

What is claimed is: 1. A kit comprising: a plurality of artificial lash extensions that attach to an underside of natural eyelashes using an adhesive and in an arrangement adjacent to one another; a storage case designed to releasably hold the plurality of artificial lash extensions; and an applicator comprising a pair of opposing arms that are joined to each other at a proximal end of each arm, each arm comprising: a first section comprising the proximal end of the arm; a second section positioned between and connected to the first section and a third section of the arm; and the third section comprising a first end portion and a second end portion, the third section defining a curvature between the first end portion and the second end portion, the third sections of the applicator designed to grasp an artificial lash extension of the plurality of artificial lash extensions from the storage case and attach the artificial lash extension to the underside of the natural eyelashes. 2. The kit of claim 1 , further comprising: the adhesive to apply to the underside of the natural eyelashes. 3. The kit of claim 2 , wherein the adhesive comprises a cyanoacrylate. 4. The kit of claim 1 , wherein the storage case comprises: a plurality of indentations designed hold the plurality of artificial lash extensions. 5. The kit of claim 4 , wherein the storage case further comprises: an outer sidewall having a curved surface that forms an exterior surface of the storage case. 6. The kit of claim 5 , wherein the plurality of indentations extend inward from the curved surface of the outer sidewall and extend vertically toward a top portion of the storage case. 7. The kit of claim 6 , wherein each indentation of the plurality of indentations comprises a substantially flat surface that extends inward from the curved surface. 8. The kit of claim 5 , wherein the plurality of artificial lash extensions seated in the plurality of indentations are arranged in a shape of a natural lash line. 9. The kit of claim 5 , wherein the curvature of the applicator corresponds to the curved surface of the outer sidewall. 10. The kit of claim 1 , wherein at least part of the first end portion of the third section of the applicator forms a tip of the applicator. 11. The kit of claim 10 , the first section, the second section and the third section longitudinally extend towards the tip. 12. The kit of claim 1 , wherein the curvature of the applicator comprises a convex curvature. 13. The kit of claim 12 , wherein the convex curvature of the third section is contoured to align substantially flush with a shape of a tightline of a user. 14. The kit of claim 12 , wherein the applicator comprises an additional curvature opposite the convex curvature. 15. The kit of claim 14 , wherein the additional curvature comprises a concave curvature. 16. The kit of claim 1 , wherein the third sections of the applicator are designed to grasp the plurality of artificial lash extensions from the storage case and attach the plurality of artificial lash extension to the underside of the natural eyelashes.
