Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

[Object] To make it possible to improve viewing angle characteristics more. [Solution] Provided is a display device including: a plurality of light emitting sections formed on a substrate; and a color filter provided on the light emitting section to correspond to each of the plurality of light emitting sections. The light emitting sections and the color filters are arranged such that, in at least a partial region in a display surface, a relative misalignment between a center of a luminescence surface of the light emitting section and a center of the color filter corresponding to the light emitting section is created in a plane perpendicular to a stacking direction.

First claim

The invention claimed is: 1. A display device comprising: a color filter layer including a first region, a transition region and a second region arranged along a first direction in a plan view, wherein in the plan view, the transition region is located between the first region and the second region, the first region includes a first color filter having a first color filter area, the second region includes a second color filter having a second color filter area, and the transition region includes a third color filter having a third color filter area, along the first direction in the plan view, the first region has a first width, the second region has a second width, and the first width is different from the second width, and the first color filter, the second color filter and the third color filter are of a same color. 2. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the first width is less than the second width. 3. The display device according to claim 2 , wherein the third color filter area is different from the first color filter area and the second color filter area. 4. The display device according to claim 3 , wherein the third color filter area is larger than the first color filter area and the second color filter area. 5. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the third color filter area is larger than the first color filter area and the second color filter area. 6. The display device according to claim 5 , wherein the first color filter area and the second color filter area are a same size. 7. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the first color filter area and the second color filter area are a same size. 8. An electronic apparatus comprising a display device according to claim 2 . 9. The electronic apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein the first width is less than the second width. 10. The electronic apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein the third color filter area is different from the first color filter area and the second color filter area. 11. The electronic apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the third color filter area is larger than the first color filter area and the second color filter area. 12. The electronic apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein the third color filter area is larger than the first color filter area and the second color filter area. 13. The electronic apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the first color filter area and the second color filter area are a same size. 14. The electronic apparatus according to claim 8 , wherein the first color filter area and the second color filter area are a same size. 15. The display device according to claim 1 , wherein the first color filter, the second color filter and the third color filter are predetermined fixed color filters.
