A cable sealing device including an attaching part securable to the cable; a fixation part adapted to be mountable on the attaching part; and a sealing part. The attaching part includes outer locking faces. The fixation part has inner abutment faces adapted to co-operate with the outer locking faces to axially and rotationally lock the fixation part relative to the attaching part. The sealing part includes an inner seal and an outer seal. The sealing part also includes a second securing arrangement that is configured to engage a first securing arrangement of the fixation part to axially and rotationally lock the sealing part to the fixation part.

What is claimed is: 1. A fiber optic retaining assembly comprising: a wall defining a through-hole having an inner surface; a connector terminating an end of a fiber optic cable forming a connectorized cable; and a sealing device configured to retain the connectorized cable at least partially within the through-hole, the sealing device including: a first member secured at least partially within the through-hole and having an opening allowing the connectorized cable to extend therethrough; a second member disposed at least partially within the through-hole proximate the first member, the second member formed substantially of a sleeve having a cylindrical shape with a first end and an opposite second end allowing the connectorized cable to extend therethrough, the first end including one or more axial projections and the second end including a flange, wherein the one or more axial projections are elastic in a radial direction, and wherein when the one or more axial projections are engaged with the first member, the sealing device is secured to the connectorized cable; and an outer seal ring contacting the inner surface of the through-hole. 2. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein the flange of the second member is positioned outside of the through-hole. 3. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein the first member and the second member are movable between at least a first configuration and a second configuration relative to each other. 4. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 3 , wherein in the first configuration, the connectorized cable is movable relative to the sealing device. 5. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 3 , wherein in the first configuration, the first member is disengaged from the second member, and in the second configuration, the first member is engaged with the second member. 6. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 3 , wherein the second member axially moves relative to the first member between the first configuration and the second configuration. 7. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein the outer seal ring is coupled to the second member. 8. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein when the one or more axial projections are engaged with the first member, the sealing device is secured to the fiber optic cable. 9. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein the sealing device further comprises a ring part disposed between the first member and the second member. 10. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein the first member is secured at least partially within the through-hole via a threaded nut. 11. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 1 , wherein the connector is an SC connector. 12. A fiber optic retaining assembly comprising: a wall defining a through-hole having an inner surface; a connector terminating an end of a fiber optic cable forming a connectorized cable; and a sealing device configured to be disposed at least partially within the through-hole and positionable in an axial direction in at least a dissembled state and an assembled state for securing at least a portion of the connectorized cable, the sealing device including: a first member; a second member formed substantially of a sleeve having a cylindrical shape with a first end including one or more axial projections and an opposite second end including a flange, the flange configured to be disposed outside of the through-hole, wherein the second member is axially slidable relative to the first member between the dissembled state and the assembled state of the sealing device, and wherein in the dissembled state of the sealing device, the connectorized cable is released relative to the second member, and in the assembled state of the sealing device, the one or more axial projections are engaged with the first member capturing at least a portion of the connectorized cable within the sealing device; and an outer ring seal. 13. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein in the dissembled state, the second member is disengaged from the first member. 14. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein the sealing device further includes an inner ring seal configured to engage the connectorized cable in the assembled state of the sealing device. 15. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein the outer ring seal is coupled to the second member. 16. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein the sealing device is carried on the connectorized cable. 17. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein the connectorized cable extends through the sealing device. 18. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein the first member secures to the wall. 19. The fiber optic retaining assembly of claim 12 , wherein the connector is an SC connector. 20. A fiber optic retaining assembly comprising: a wall defining a through-hole having an inner surface; a connector terminating an end of a fiber optic cable forming a connectorized cable; and a sealing device configured to retain the connectorized cable at least partially within the through-hole, the sealing device including: a first member secured at least partially within the through-hole and having an opening allowing the connectorized cable to extend therethrough; a second member disposed at least partially within the through-hole proximate the first member, the second member formed substantially of a sleeve having a cylindrical shape with a first end and an opposite second end allowing the connectorized cable to extend therethrough, the first end including one or more axial projections and the second end including a flange, wherein at least one of the first member and the second member are axially slidable relative to each other between at least a first configuration and a second configuration, and wherein in the first configuration, the one or more axial projections are engaged with the first member such that the sealing device is secured to the connectorized cable; and an outer seal ring contacting the inner surface of the through-hole. 21. A fiber optic plug connector comprising: a connector arrangement that axially extends from a front end to a rear end, the connector arrangement defining a rear cable entrance location, the front end of the connector arrangement defining a front connector portion at which a ferrule is at least partially enclosed, the ferrule being configured to support at least one optical fiber; a seal mounted on an exterior of the connector arrangement, the seal being a radial seal positioned within a circumferential groove defined around the exterior of the connector arrangement, the seal having an outer diameter; a threaded region disposed at the exterior of the connector arrangement at a location axially between the ferrule and the seal, the threaded region defining an outwardly-facing thread, the thread being non-rotatable relative to the front connector portion of the connector arrangement including the thread being non-rotatable relative to the ferrule, the thread having an inner diameter that is less than the outer diameter of the seal; and a housing mounted over the connector arrangement, the housing being configured to screw onto the threaded region, the housing having a closed end that covers the ferrule of the connector arrangement when the housing is mounted over the connector arrangement. 22.
