What is claimed is: 1. A medical device, comprising: a shaft; a handle housing a proximal end of the shaft; a first channel extending throughout a first lumen of the shaft, wherein the first channel is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the shaft, the first channel including a proximal end and a distal end; and an actuator, wherein a distal end of the actuator is configured to engage and disengage with the proximal end of the first channel, such that in an engaged position the actuator and the first channel are rotatable, wherein the distal end of the actuator includes a first plurality of teeth protruding distally, and the proximal end of the first channel includes a second plurality of teeth protruding proximally. 2. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the first plurality of teeth and the second plurality of teeth are selectively engageable and disengageable with one another. 3. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein each of the first plurality of teeth is separated from one another by gaps along a circumference of the distal end of the actuator, and wherein each of the second plurality of teeth is separated from one another by gaps along a circumference of the proximal end of the first channel. 4. The medical device of claim 3 , wherein each of the first plurality of teeth of the actuator are configured to fit in each of the gaps of the first channel, and each of the second plurality of teeth of the first channel are configured to fit in each of the gaps of the actuator, thereby engaging the distal end of the actuator with the proximal end of the first channel. 5. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the actuator includes a second lumen configured to receive a medical accessory device. 6. The medical device of claim 5 , wherein the proximal end of the actuator includes a knob. 7. The medical device of claim 6 , wherein the knob includes an opening in fluid communication with the second lumen, the opening is configured to receive the medical accessory device. 8. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the actuator includes a biasing member configured to bias the actuator away from the first channel. 9. The medical device of claim 8 , wherein the actuator includes a knob, the knob including a distally facing surface, wherein a proximal end of the biasing member is biased against the distally facing surface of the knob. 10. The medical device of claim 9 , wherein the shaft includes a second channel configured to receive the actuator, wherein a distal end of the biasing member is biased against a proximal surface of the second channel. 11. The medical device of claim 1 , wherein the shaft includes a second channel configured to receive the actuator, wherein the actuator includes a longitudinal body, wherein an inner surface of the second channel and an outer surface of the longitudinal body defines an annular space. 12. A medical device, comprising: a shaft; a handle housing a proximal end of the shaft; a first channel extending throughout a first lumen of the shaft, wherein the first channel is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the shaft, the first channel including a proximal end and a distal end; and an actuator, wherein a distal end of the actuator is configured to engage and disengage with the proximal end of the first channel, such that in an engaged position the actuator and the first channel are rotatable; wherein the shaft includes a second channel configured to receive the actuator, the second channel including a first seal fitted around the actuator, wherein the actuator includes a second lumen, the second lumen including a second seal configured to fit around a medical accessory device received within the second lumen. 13. The medical device of claim 12 , wherein the first seal is an o-ring or a radially inward tapered portion of the second channel. 14. The medical device of claim 13 , wherein the second seal is an o-ring or a radially inward tapered portion of the second lumen. 15. The medical device of claim 12 , wherein an inner surface of the second channel and an outer surface of the actuator defines an annular space. 16. The medical device of claim 15 , wherein the first seal is positioned within the annular space. 17. A method of rotating a medical accessory device housed within a medical device, wherein the medical device comprises a first channel extending throughout a lumen of a shaft, wherein the first channel includes a first plurality of teeth protruding proximally, wherein the first channel is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the shaft, and an actuator, the actuator including a second plurality of teeth protruding distally, wherein the medical accessory device extends within the first channel, the method comprising: engaging the second plurality of teeth with the first plurality of teeth. 18. The method of claim 17 , further comprising after engaging the second plurality of teeth with the first plurality of teeth, rotating the actuator, thereby rotating both the first channel and the medical accessory device relative to the shaft. 19. The medical device of claim 18 , wherein each of the first plurality of teeth is separated from one another by gaps along a circumference of a distal end of the actuator, and wherein each of the second plurality of teeth is separated from one another by gaps along a circumference of a proximal end of the first channel. 20. The medical device of claim 19 , wherein each of the first plurality of teeth of the actuator are configured to fit in each of the gaps of the first channel, and each of the second plurality of teeth of the first channel are configured to fit in each of the gaps of the actuator, thereby engaging the distal end of the actuator with the proximal end of the first channel.
