What is claimed is: 1. An electronic gaming machine comprising: a cabinet; a monitor configured to display an electronic game; a carriage coupled to the monitor; a link pivotably attached to the cabinet; and a harness coupled to the carriage, wherein the harness is configured for selective release and retraction to pivot the link and move the carriage relative to the cabinet for moving the monitor relative to the cabinet between a first position and a second position, wherein, in the second position, the monitor is lowered and laterally spaced outward from the cabinet relative to the first position, wherein the link couples the carriage to the cabinet when the monitor is in both the first position and the second position. 2. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the harness is a wire harness. 3. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the monitor is substantially flush with the cabinet when the monitor is in the first position. 4. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein release of the harness moves the monitor from the first position to the second position and retraction of the harness moves the monitor from the second position to the first position. 5. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the link rotates on the cabinet as the monitor is moved between the first position and the second position. 6. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 , wherein the monitor is removably coupled to the carriage to facilitate removing the monitor from the carriage when the monitor is in the second position. 7. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 further comprising a track frame coupled to the link, the carriage being slideably coupled to the track frame, wherein, when the monitor is in the second position, the harness is configured for further selective release and retraction to slide the carriage along the track frame and move the monitor to a third position, wherein, in the third position, the monitor is at a lowered position on the track frame relative to the second position. 8. The electronic gaming machine of claim 7 , wherein the cabinet includes a stop that engages the track frame when the monitor is in the second position, and wherein selective release of the harness causes the monitor to move relative to the track frame between the second position and the third position when the stop is engaged with track frame. 9. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 further comprising a drive mechanism coupled to the harness and operable to selectively release and retract the harness for moving the monitor relative to the cabinet. 10. The electronic gaming machine of claim 9 further comprising a pulley coupled to the cabinet and positioned above the carriage, the harness extending from the drive mechanism, through the pulley, and to the carriage. 11. The electronic gaming machine of claim 10 , wherein the harness is attached to the carriage, and wherein when the monitor is in the second position, the harness extends obliquely outward of the cabinet from the pulley to the carriage. 12. The electronic gaming machine of claim 1 further comprising an additional link pivotably coupling the carriage to the cabinet, wherein the additional link is positioned below the link. 13. A mounting assembly for removably coupling a monitor to a cabinet of an electronic gaming machine, the mounting assembly comprising: a mount configured to secure the monitor to the cabinet, the mount including a carriage configured for coupling to the monitor and a link configured to be pivotably attached to the carriage; and a harness configured to couple to the carriage, the harness being configured for selective release and retraction to pivot the link and move the carriage relative to the cabinet for moving the monitor relative to the cabinet between a first position and a second position, wherein, in the second position, the monitor is lowered and laterally spaced outward from the cabinet relative to the first position, wherein the link is configured to couple the carriage to the cabinet when the monitor is in both the first position and the second position. 14. The mounting assembly of claim 13 , wherein the harness is a wire harness. 15. The mounting assembly of claim 13 , wherein release of the harness moves the monitor from the first position to the second position and retraction of the harness moves the monitor from the second position to the first position. 16. The mounting assembly of claim 13 , wherein the monitor is configured to be removably coupled to the carriage to facilitate removing the monitor from the carriage when the monitor is in the second position. 17. The mounting assembly of claim 13 further comprising a track frame configured to be coupled to the link, the carriage being configured to slideably couple to the track frame, wherein, when the monitor is in the second position, the harness is configured for further selective release and retraction to slide the carriage along the track frame and move the monitor to a third position, wherein, in the third position, the monitor is at a lowered position on the track frame relative to the second position. 18. The mounting assembly of claim 13 further comprising a drive mechanism configured to be coupled to the harness and operable to selectively release and retract the harness for moving the monitor relative to the cabinet. 19. The mounting assembly of claim 18 further comprising a pulley configured to be coupled to the cabinet at a position above the carriage, wherein the harness is configured attach to the carriage and extend from the drive mechanism, through the pulley, and to the carriage, and wherein when the monitor is in the second position, the harness extends obliquely outward of the cabinet from the pulley to the carriage. 20. An electronic gaming machine comprising: a cabinet; a monitor configured to display an electronic game; a carriage configured to be coupled to the monitor; a link pivotably attached to the cabinet; and a harness configured to be coupled to the carriage, wherein the harness is configured for selective release and retraction, when the electronic gaming machine is assembled, to pivot the link and move the carriage relative to the cabinet for moving the monitor relative to the cabinet between a first position and a second position, wherein, in the second position, the monitor is lowered and laterally spaced outward from the cabinet relative to the first position, wherein the link couples the carriage to the cabinet when the monitor is in both the first position and the second position.
