An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive member; an exposure portion configured to expose the photosensitive member to light depending on image information to form a latent image on the photosensitive member; a developing portion configured to develop the latent image into a toner image with toner; and a transfer portion configured to transfer the toner image from the photosensitive member onto a recording material. The image forming apparatus changes a surface movement speed of the photosensitive member at timing prior to predetermined timing, when a moving speed of a recording material at the transfer portion changes, by a predetermined time.

What is claimed is: 1. An image forming apparatus for forming a toner image on a recording material, comprising: a rotatable photosensitive member; an exposure portion configured to expose said photosensitive member to light depending on image information to form a latent image on said photosensitive member; a developing portion configured to use toner to develop the latent image into the toner image; a feed roller configured to feed the recording material; a transfer portion configured to transfer the toner image from said photosensitive member onto the recording material while the recording material passes through the transfer portion; a fixing portion including a pair of rotatable members to form a fixing nip for conveying the recording material and configured to fix the toner image onto the recording material; a single motor configured to drive said feed roller, said photosensitive member, and said pair of rotatable members; and a controller configured to control said single motor, wherein said pair of rotatable members includes a cylindrical film and a pressure roller, wherein said fixing portion includes a heater provided in an inner space of said film, wherein the fixing nip is formed between said heater and said pressure roller through said film, and wherein during a period when one sheet of the recording material passes through the transfer portion, said controller reduces a rotational speed of said motor at a predetermined first timing and a predetermined second timing after the predetermined first timing so as to reduce respective rotational speeds of said feed roller, said photosensitive member, and said pair of rotatable members at the predetermined first timing and the predetermined second timing. 2. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the predetermined first timing is a timing after a leading end of the recording material passes through the transfer portion, and the predetermined second timing is a timing before a trailing end of the recording material passes by said feed roller. 3. The image forming apparatus according to claim 2 , further comprising a pad in contact with said feed roller, wherein a press-contact portion for nipping the recording material is formed by said feed roller and said pad. 4. The image forming apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein said transfer portion includes a transfer roller configured to nip the recording material with said photosensitive member.
