Official abstract text for this publication.
A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes receiving circuitry configured to receive a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process number (HPN). The HPN indicates one or more configured grant (CG) configurations that are activated and/or released/deactivated. The UE also includes processing circuitry configured to activate and/or release/deactivate one or more CG configurations based on the HPN.

The invention claimed is: 1. A user equipment (UE) that communicates with a base station, the UE comprising: receiving circuitry configured to receive a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising first information used for configuring more than one configured grant (CG) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) configuration, the more than one CG PUSCH configuration comprising respective configuration indices, wherein the receiving circuitry is configured to receive an RRC configuration for configuring second information indicating a list for CG PUSCH configuration release, and the receiving circuity is configured to detect a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a downlink control information (DCI) format with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a first radio network identifier (RNTI), the DCI format being used for an activation or deactivation of at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration; processing circuitry configured to determine whether DCI based on the DCI format is first DCI comprising third information or second DCI comprising fourth information, the third information being used for indicating the activation of the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, the fourth information being used for indicating release of the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration; and transmitting circuitry configured to perform, based on a detection of the first DCI, an uplink data transmission on CG PUSCH based on the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, wherein the processing circuity is configured to release the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, based on a detection of the second DCI, the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH being determined based on the second DCI and the second information, indices of the released CG PUSCH configuration(s) in the list being given by the second DCI, the third information comprises Redundancy Version field set to all “0” and HARQ process number field which are used to indicate which CG PUSCH configuration(s) is/are activated, and the fourth information comprises Redundancy Version field set to all “0”, Modulation and coding scheme field set to all “1”, and HARQ process number field which are used to indicate which CG PUSCH configuration(s) is/are released. 2. A base station that communicates with a user equipment (UE), the base station comprising: transmitting circuitry configured to transmit a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising first information used for configuring more than one configured grant (CG) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) configuration, the more than one CG PUSCH configuration comprising respective configuration indices, wherein the transmitting circuitry is configured to transmit an RRC configuration for configuring second information indicating a list for CG PUSCH configuration release, and the transmitting circuity is configured to transmit a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a downlink control information (DCI) format with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a first radio network identifier (RNTI), the DCI format being used for an activation or deactivation of at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration; receiving circuitry configured to receive, after transmitting first DCI which is generated based on the DCI format and which comprises third information used for indicating the activation of the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, an uplink data transmission on CG PUSCH based on the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, wherein the transmitting circuity is configured to transmit second DCI which is generated based on the DCI format and which comprises fourth information used for indicating release of the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, the fourth information is information that causes the UE to release the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH being determined based on the second DCI and the second information, indices of the released CG PUSCH configuration(s) in the list being given by the second DCI, wherein the third information comprises Redundancy Version field set to all “0” and HARQ process number field which are used to indicate which CG PUSCH configuration(s) is/are activated, and the fourth information comprises Redundancy Version field set to all “0”, Modulation and coding scheme field set to all “1”, and HARQ process number field which are used to indicate which CG PUSCH configuration(s) is/are released. 3. A method performed by a user equipment (UE) that communicates with a base station, the method comprising: receiving a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising first information used for configuring more than one configured grant (CG) physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) configuration, the more than one CG PUSCH configuration comprising respective configuration indices, wherein receiving an RRC configuration for configuring second information indicating a list for CG PUSCH configuration release, and detecting a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) for a downlink control information (DCI) format with cyclic redundancy check (CRC) scrambled by a first radio network identifier (RNTI), the DCI format being used for an activation or deactivation of at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration; determining whether DCI based on the DCI format is first DCI comprising third information or second DCI comprising fourth information, the third information being used for indicating the activation of the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, the fourth information being used for indicating release of the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration; performing, based on a detection of the first DCI, an uplink data transmission on CG PUSCH based on the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration; and releasing the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH configuration, based on a detection of the second DCI, the at least one of the more than one CG PUSCH being determined based on the second DCI and the second information, indices of the released CG PUSCH configuration(s) in the list being given by the second DCI, wherein the third information comprises Redundancy Version field set to all “0” and HARQ process number field which are used to indicate which CG PUSCH configuration(s) is/are activated, and the fourth information comprises Redundancy Version field set to all “0”, Modulation and coding scheme field set to all “1”, and HARQ process number field which are used to indicate which CG PUSCH configuration(s) is/are released.
