A vehicle control device controls a vehicle drive system having a main motor serving as a source of drive power of a vehicle, a parking lock mechanism, and an actuator. The vehicle control device includes an actuator drive controller that controls drive of the actuator, and a main motor drive controller that controls drive of the main motor. When a parking lock of the vehicle cannot be released by the actuator due to an engaging surface pressure between a parking gear and a parking lever, the main motor drive controller performs an engaging surface pressure reduction control in which an engaging surface pressure is reduced by driving the main motor to cause an increase of a torque of the main motor by a set increase speed.

What is claimed is: 1. A vehicle control device configured to control a vehicle drive system that includes: a main motor used as a drive source of a vehicle; a parking lock mechanism including a parking gear connected to an axle of the vehicle, and a parking lever that is engageable with the parking gear and is capable of locking a rotation of the axle by an engagement of the parking gear and the parking lever; and an actuator capable of driving the parking lever, the vehicle control device comprising: an actuator drive controller configured to control a drive of the actuator; and a main motor drive controller configured to control a drive of the main motor, wherein the main motor drive controller is configured to perform an engaging surface pressure reduction control in which the main motor is driven to increase a torque of the main motor by a set increase speed, when the parking lock is not released by the actuator due to an engaging surface pressure between the parking gear and the parking lever, and to increase the torque of the main motor within a range from an initial torque value to an upper limit torque value in the engaging surface pressure reduction control, wherein the initial torque value is an intermediate value between 0 and the upper limit torque value, and the main motor drive controller is configured to increase the torque of the main motor from 0 to the initial torque value in a stepwise at a start time of the engaging surface pressure reduction control, and then to increase the torque within a range up to the upper limit torque value by the set increase speed. 2. The vehicle control device of claim 1 , wherein the upper limit torque value is set according to (a) at least one of a tilt angle of the vehicle, an angle between the vehicle and a tilt extension direction, or a wheel angle of wheels, and (b) a vehicle weight. 3. The vehicle control device of claim 1 , wherein the set increase speed is variable according to at least one of a vehicle weight or a tilt angle of the vehicle. 4. The vehicle control device of claim 1 , wherein the set increase speed is variable according to temperature of the actuator. 5. The vehicle control device of claim 1 , wherein the set increase speed is variable according to an input voltage of the actuator. 6. The vehicle control device of claim 1 , wherein when the main motor is driven in the engaging surface pressure reduction control, a brake load of the vehicle is made larger than that when the engaging surface pressure reduction control is not performed. 7. The vehicle control device of claim 1 , wherein the actuator has a usage environment region in which the parking lock is not releasable when the engaging surface pressure is generated. 8. A vehicle control device configured to control a vehicle drive system, the vehicle control device comprising: a controller executed by at least one processer, the controller being configured to control a drive of an actuator capable of driving a parking lever of a vehicle, and to control a drive of a main motor used as a drive source of the vehicle, wherein the controller is configured to perform an engaging surface pressure reduction control in which a torque of the main motor is increased, when a parking lock of the vehicle is not released by the actuator due to an engaging surface pressure between a parking gear and the parking lever of the vehicle, and to increase the torque of the main motor from 0 to an initial torque value in a stepwise at a start time of the engaging surface pressure reduction control, and then to increase the torque of the main motor within a range from the initial torque up to an upper limit torque value by a set increase speed. 9. The vehicle control device of claim 8 , wherein the controller is configured to set a brake load in the engaging surface pressure reduction control larger than that in a control except for the engaging surface pressure reduction control. 10. The vehicle control device of claim 8 , wherein the set increase speed is variable according to at least one of a vehicle state or an actuator state.
