Embodiments of the present invention provide an oral device. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a mouthpiece suitable to detachably engage teeth of an upper jaw is provided. The mouthpiece comprises an adhesive layer configured to attach a hermetically sealed chamber to the mouthpiece. The hermitically sealed chamber fits within a concave space created by the mouthpiece. The hermitically sealed chamber comprises two layers and embedded between those two layers are a pressure sensor, a microphone, an optical sensor, a temperature sensor, a communications module, a storage enclosure, and a biosensor. Each of the pressure sensor, the microphone, the optical sensor, the temperature sensor, the communications module, the storage enclosure, and the biosensor are operably connected within the hermetically sealed chamber.

What is claimed is: 1. An oral device comprising: a flexible substrate comprising two layers that are hermetically sealed forming a hermetically sealed chamber shaped in a rectangular manner, wherein the two layers form two sides of the hermetically sealed chamber, and the two sides include: a first side having a first surface; and a second side having a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the second surface is substantially a same length as the first surface and wherein the second surface has an upper portion defined by a first width that is approximately three quarters of the width of the second surface and a lower portion defined by a second width that is approximately one quarter of the width of the second surface, wherein the upper portion and the lower portion are adjoined with a split line along a horizontal axis of the second surface, and wherein the first width and the second width comprise an entirety of the width of the second surface, wherein an optical sensor, a pressure gauge, and a microcontroller bundle are disposed in, and are operatively connected to the upper portion of the second surface, and wherein a storage enclosure is disposed in the lower portion of the second surface and opens and closes at fixed intervals of time; and a guard layer affixed to the hermetically sealed chamber. 2. The oral device of claim 1 , wherein the flexible substrate, upon being folded in half includes four surfaces, the four surfaces including the first surface and the second surface. 3. The oral device of claim 2 , wherein the four surfaces comprise: the first surface, wherein the first surface, upon insertion into a wearer's mouth, interfaces with a superior lip of the wearer and functions as a barrier between the oral device and an oral cavity of the wearer; the second surface, wherein the second surface, upon insertion into the wearer's mouth, interfaces with a respective anterior portion of one or more teeth; a third surface, wherein the third surface, upon insertion into the wearer's mouth, interfaces with a respective posterior portion of the one or more teeth; and a fourth surface, wherein the fourth surface, upon insertion into the wearer's mouth, functions as another barrier between the oral device and the oral cavity of the wearer. 4. The oral device of claim 3 , wherein the storage enclosure is embedded within the second surface. 5. The oral device of claim 3 , wherein a pressure sensor, a microphone, the optical sensor, a temperature sensor, a communications module, and a biosensor are disposed on the third surface. 6. The oral device of claim 5 , wherein the pressure sensor is a strain gauge film sensor. 7. The oral device of claim 6 , wherein the pressure sensor utilizes a piezoelectric film sensor. 8. The oral device of claim 1 , further comprising: an adhesive layer that affixes the flexible substrate comprising the two layers that are hermetically sealed to a denture device. 9. The oral device of claim 8 , wherein the adhesive layer is selected from a group consisting ofmethyl vinyl ether-maleic anhydride copolymer, karaya gum, tragacanth, acacia, pectin, gelatin, carboxymethylcellulose, and mineral oil. 10. The oral device of claim 9 , further comprising: antimicrobial agents non-toxic additives, and flavoring agents. 11. An oral device comprising: a flexible substrate comprising two layers that are hermetically sealed forming a hermetically sealed chamber, wherein the two layers form two sides of the hermetically sealed chamber, and the two sides include: a first side having a first surface; and a second side having a second surface opposite the first surface, wherein the second surface has: an upper portion defined by a first width of a total width of the second surface; and a lower portion defined by a second width that is a second width of the total width of the second surface, wherein the upper portion and the lower portion are adjoined with a split line along a horizontal axis of the second surface, and wherein the upper portion and the lower portion comprise an entirety of the width of the second surface, wherein an optical sensor, a pressure gauge, and a microcontroller bundle are disposed in, and are operatively connected to the upper portion of the second surface, and wherein a storage enclosure is disposed in the lower portion of the second surface and opens and closes.
