The invention relates to an adapter ( 25 ) intended to connect a wiper blade to a driving arm for a vehicle via a connector ( 24 ), having a first lateral wall ( 251 ) and a second lateral wall ( 252 ) between which an upper wall ( 250 ) is positioned, at least one of these lateral walls ( 251 ) comprising a pivot member intended to allow the adapter ( 25 ) to rotate with respect to the connector ( 24 ), the pivot member comprising at least one hole ( 451 ) configured to receive a shaft of the driving arm. According to the invention, this hole ( 451 ) has at least one rib able to block pivoting between the shaft of the driving arm and the adapter ( 25 ).

The invention claimed is: 1. An adapter configured to connect a wiper blade to a driving arm for a vehicle via a connector, the adapter comprising: a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall between which an upper wall is positioned, at least one of these lateral walls comprising a pivot member that allows the adapter to rotate with respect to the connector, the pivot member comprising at least one hole configured to receive a shaft of the driving arm, wherein the pivot member comprises at least one immobilizing member that projects inward the hole and able to block pivoting between the shaft of the driving arm and the adapter within the hole, wherein the shaft is in contact with the at least one immobilizing member, wherein the shaft is immobilized in terms of both rotational and translational movement with respect to the adapter by the at least one immobilizing member. 2. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the immobilizing member comprises at least one rib formed on a surface delimiting the hole. 3. The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein the immobilizing member comprises at least three ribs separated from one another by an angular sector of 120°. 4. The assembly according to claim 2 , wherein the at least one rib extends parallel to an axis of the hole configured to accept the shaft of the driving arm. 5. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the lateral wall bearing the hole is delimited by an internal face and an external face, and at least one of the ribs extends continuously from the internal face to the external face of the lateral wall. 6. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein at least one rib projects from a surface delimiting the hole. 7. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the first lateral wall is provided with the hole configured to accept the shaft of the driving arm, the second lateral wall comprising an orifice aligned on an axis of the hole and which has a cross section of parallelepipedal shape. 8. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the connector comprises a bearing which accepts the pivot member. 9. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the connector comprises a ring which projects from a lateral face of the connector, the ring being housed in a orifice of the second lateral wall of the adapter. 10. A wiping system comprising the assembly of claim 1 , wherein the adapter being immobilized in terms of rotational and in terms of translational movement with respect to the driving arm by the immobilization member, the adapter being mounted with the ability to pivot with respect to the connector via at least the pivot member. 11. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the immobilizing member extends out beyond a surface delimiting the hole toward an interior of the hole. 12. An assembly comprising an adapter connecting a wiper blade to a driving arm for a vehicle via a connector, the adapter comprising: a first lateral wall and a second lateral wall between which an upper wall is positioned, at least one of these lateral walls comprising a pivot member that allows the adapter to rotate with respect to the connector, the pivot member comprising at least one hole configured to receive a shaft of the driving arm, wherein the pivot member comprises at least one immobilizing member able to block pivoting between the shaft of the driving arm and the adapter within the hole, the at least one immobilizing member projects inward the hole and comprises at least one rib, or a series of blocks or sectors, and wherein the shaft is in contact with the at least one immobilizing member, wherein the shaft is immobilized in terms of both rotational and translational movement with respect to the adapter by the at least one immobilizing member.
