The invention claimed is: 1. A method comprising: at an electronic device in communication with a display generation component and one or more input devices: while navigating along a route from a first physical location to a second physical location, displaying, via the display generation component, a representation of a map from a first perspective, wherein the representation of the map includes: an indication of the route on the representation of a map, and a representation of a physical object on the representation of the map, wherein: in accordance with a determination that a first respective portion of the indication of the route is not occluded by the representation of the physical object from the first perspective, the first respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with a visual characteristic having a first value, and in accordance with a determination that the first respective portion of the indication of the route is occluded by the representation of the physical object from the first perspective, the first respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with the visual characteristic having a second value different from the first value; and while navigating along the route from the first physical location to the second physical location, transitioning from displaying the representation of the map from the first perspective to displaying, via the display generation component, the representation of the map from a second perspective, different from the first perspective, wherein: in accordance with a determination that a second respective portion of the indication of the route different than the first respective portion of the indication of the route is not occluded by the representation of the physical object from the second perspective, the second respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with the visual characteristic having the first value, and in accordance with a determination that the second respective portion of the indication of the route is occluded by the representation of the physical object from the second perspective, the second respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with the visual characteristic having the second value. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: in accordance with the determination that the first respective portion of the indication of the route is occluded by the representation of the physical object from the first perspective, displaying a respective portion of the representation of the physical object that is occluding the respective portion of the indication of the route with a first visual appearance; and in accordance with the determination that the first respective portion of the indication of the route is not occluded by the representation of the physical object from the first perspective, displaying the respective portion of the representation of the physical object with a second visual appearance different from the first visual appearance. 3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: displaying, on the indication of the route on the representation of the map, a current location indicator that corresponds to a current location of the electronic device on the representation of the map, wherein: in accordance with a determination that a topography of the representation of the map at the current location indicator has a first grade, the current location indicator is displayed with a first orientation based on the first grade; and in accordance with a determination that the topography of the representation of the map at the current location indicator has a second grade, different from the first grade, the current location indicator is displayed with a second orientation, different from the first orientation, based on the second grade. 4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: displaying, on the indication of the route on the representation of the map: a current location indicator that corresponds to a current location of the electronic device on the representation of the map; and a simulated shadow cast by the current location indicator on the representation of the map. 5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: displaying, on the indication of the route on the representation of the map, a current location indicator that corresponds to a current location of the electronic device on the representation of the map, wherein: in accordance with a determination that a respective portion of the current location indicator is not occluded by the representation of the physical object from the first perspective, the respective portion of the current location indicator is displayed with a second visual characteristic having a third value, and in accordance with a determination that the respective portion of the current location indicator is occluded by the representation of the physical object from the first perspective, the respective portion of the current location indicator is displayed with the second visual characteristic having a fourth value, different from the third value. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: displaying, on the indication of the route on the representation of the map, a current location indicator that corresponds to a current location of the electronic device on the representation of the map, wherein: in accordance with a determination that a zoom level at which the representation of the map is displayed is a first zoom level: in accordance with the determination that the first respective portion of the indication of the route is not occluded by the representation of the physical object, the first respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with the visual characteristic having the first value; in accordance with the determination that the first respective portion of the indication of the route is occluded by the representation of the physical object, the first respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with the visual characteristic having the second value; in accordance with a determination that a respective portion of the current location indicator is not occluded by the representation of the physical object, the respective portion of the current location indicator is displayed with a second visual characteristic having a third value, and in accordance with a determination that the respective portion of the current location indicator is occluded by the representation of the physical object, the respective portion of the current location indicator is displayed with the second visual characteristic having a fourth value, different from the third value; and in accordance with a determination that the zoom level at which the representation of the map is displayed is a second zoom level, different from the first zoom level: in accordance with the determination that the second respective portion of the indication of the route is not occluded by the representation of the physical object, the second respective portion of the indication of the route is displayed with the visual characteristic having the first value; in accordance with the determination that the second respective portion of the indication of the route is occluded by the representation of the physical object, the second respective portion of the indication of the route is not displayed; in accordance with a determination that a respective portion of the current location indicator is not occluded by the representation of the physical object, the respective portion of the current location indicator is displayed with the second visual characteristic having the third value; and in accordance with a determination that the respective portion of the current location indicator is occluded by the representation
