What is claimed is: 1. A method for configuring a vehicle based on a state of charge of a battery, comprising: evaluating, based on a first predetermined threshold, the state of charge; based on determining the state of charge is below the first predetermined threshold: configuring a connectivity circuit of the vehicle to awaken periodically; and when the connectivity circuit is awake, communicating with a vehicle platform; evaluating, based on a second predetermined threshold that is below the first predetermined threshold, the state of charge; and based on determining the state of charge is below the second predetermined threshold: disabling the connectivity circuit of the vehicle. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: evaluating, based on the first predetermined threshold, the state of charge; and based on determining the state of charge is above the first predetermined threshold: configuring the connectivity circuit of the vehicle to an enabled state; and maintaining a communication session with the vehicle platform. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein: a first notification is generated based on determining the state of charge is below the first predetermined threshold; and a second notification is generated based on determining the state of charge is below the second predetermined threshold. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the first notification and the second notification are provided to an operator device. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the second predetermined threshold represents a state of charge above a minimum state of charge for operation of a prime mover of the vehicle. 6. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving, from the vehicle platform, a threshold update to at least one of the first predetermined threshold or the second predetermined threshold; and storing the threshold update. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein a set of non-critical components is disabled based on determining the state of charge is below the first predetermined threshold. 8. The method of claim 7 , wherein communicating with the vehicle platform comprises transmitting data from a set of critical components of the vehicle. 9. The method of claim 1 , wherein a set of critical components is disabled based on determining the state of charge is below the second predetermined threshold. 10. The method claim 1 , wherein a set of non-critical components and a set of critical components are enabled based on determining the state of charge is above the first predetermined threshold. 11. The method of claim 1 , wherein the state of charge is based on a voltage of the battery.
