The disclosed system identifies an unused medication and a current location of the unused medication, and determines that a new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication. Responsive to determining that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication, the system provides a preparation instruction to prepare the new medication order using the unused medication, determines a current geolocation of a global positioning system (GPS) receiver of a mobile device associated with a delivery person, the mobile device being remote from the one or more computing devices, determines based on the current geolocation of the GPS receiver of the mobile device and the unused medication, that the unused medication should be retrieved by the delivery person before or instead of a second medication, and provides, to the mobile device, an indication to retrieve the unused medication.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of obtaining unused medications, performed by one or more computing devices, comprising: receiving a new medication order for a first patient; receiving an electronic identification indication associated with a package of an unused medication, the unused medication currently designated to be administered to a second patient but not administered to the second patient; determining a current location of the unused medication; determining, after identifying the unused medication and determining the current location of the unused medication, that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication; responsive to determining that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication: providing a preparation instruction to prepare the new medication order using the unused medication; determining a current geolocation of a mobile device associated with a delivery person, the mobile device being remote from the one or more computing devices; determining that the unused medication should be retrieved by the delivery person; and providing, to the mobile device for display by the mobile device via an electronic network, an indication to retrieve the unused medication from the current location and delivery of the unused medication to a delivery location associated with preparing the new medication order; and causing the new medication order to be filled based on controlling an automated medication preparation robot to prepare at least a portion of the new medication order using at least a portion of the unused medication as a component in the new medication order when the unused medication is returned to the delivery location. 2. The method of claim 1 , responsive to determining that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication: determining that the delivery person is designated to deliver or retrieve one or more medications in an area associated with the current location of the unused medication before providing the preparation instruction to retrieve the unused medication. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein receiving the new medication order comprises: receiving a replenishment signal, originating from an infusion device associated with the first patient, indicating that a medication administered to the first patient by the infusion device should be replenished, wherein the preparation instruction is provided based on the replenishment signal. 4. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: receiving a notification indicating that an active tracking device affixed to the unused medication was wirelessly scanned by an automated reader device at a current location of the unused medication before the unused medication was administered by a second infusion pump. 5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: determining that the new medication order is to be prepared using the unused medication and a component medication in an inventory, wherein the preparation instruction indicates use of the component medication from the inventory. 6. The method of claim 5 , further comprising: facilitating preparation of the new medication order based on interfacing with a medication preparation component, configured to fulfill a plurality of medication orders based on a first set of parameters, an inventory management component configured to stock an inventory based on a second set of parameters, and a delivery component configured to delivery medications based on a third set of parameters, and a medication recycling management component configured to retrieve unused medications based on a fourth set of parameters, wherein the medication preparation component comprises a compounder configured to prepare an intravenous (IV) medication. 7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising: providing the medication preparation component the first set of parameters based on the second, third, and fourth set of parameters, wherein the medication preparation component cannot interface directly with the second, third, and fourth set of parameters. 8. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: causing a delivery of the new medication order to a medical device associated with the first patient; and receiving a notification that the new medication order is received at the medical device. 9. A system, comprising: a medical device comprising an infusion pump or a dispensing machine; one or more computing devices; and a non-transitory machine readable memory having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by the one or more computing devices, cause the one or more computing devices to perform operations comprising: receiving a new medication order for a first patient; receiving electronic identification information associated with a package of an unused medication, the unused medication currently designated to be administered to a second patient but not administered to the second patient determining a current location of the unused medication; determining, after identifying the unused medication and determining the current location of the unused medication, that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication; responsive to determining that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication: providing a preparation instruction to prepare the new medication order using the unused medication; determining a current geolocation of a mobile device associated with a delivery person, the mobile device being remote from the one or more computing devices; automatically determining, based on the current geolocation of the mobile device, that the unused medication should be retrieved by the delivery person determining that the unused medication should be retrieved by the delivery person; providing, to the mobile device for display by the mobile device via an electronic network, an indication to retrieve the unused medication from the current location and delivery of the unused medication to a delivery location associated with preparing the new medication order; and causing the new medication order to be filled based on controlling an automated medication preparation robot to prepare at least a portion of the new medication order using at least a portion of the unused medication as a component in the new medication order when the unused medication is returned to the delivery location. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the indication to retrieve the unused medication comprises providing a visualization comprising a route for retrieving the unused medication from the current location and delivery of the unused medication to a delivery location associated with preparing the new medication order. 11. The system of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise: facilitating a delivery of the new medication order to a medical device associated with the first patient; and receiving a notification that the new medication order is received at the medical device. 12. The system of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise, responsive to determining that the new medication order can be prepared using the unused medication: determining that the delivery person is designated to deliver or retrieve one or more medications in an area associated with the current location of the unused medication before providing the preparation instruction to retrieve the unused medication; and receiving, after the preparation instruction to retrieve the unused medication is provided to the mobile device, a delivery verification of the unused medication. 13. The system of claim 9 , wherein receiving the new medication order comprises: receivi
