An electrolyte solution for a lithium ion secondary battery, including a compound (1) represented by the following formula (1): wherein R 1 and R 2 are each independently a methyl, ethyl, propyl, or butyl group. Also disclosed is a lithium ion secondary battery including the electrolyte solution and a module including the lithium ion secondary battery.

What is claimed is: 1. An electrolyte solution for a lithium ion secondary battery, comprising a compound (1-a) represented by the following formula: wherein the compound (1-a) is present in an amount of 0.01 to 10% by mass relative to the electrolyte solution. 2. An electrolyte solution for a lithium ion secondary battery, comprising: an imidazolium cation (1-1a) represented by the following formula (1-1a): a difluorophosphoric acid ion, wherein the electrolyte solution has a molar ratio (a/b) of the amount (a) of the imidazolium cation (1-1a) to the amount (b) of the difluorophosphoric acid ion of 0.9 to 1.1. 3. The electrolyte solution for a lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 2 , wherein the imidazolium cation (1-1a) is present in an amount of 0.0005 to 15% by mass relative to the electrolyte solution. 4. A lithium ion secondary battery comprising the electrolyte solution according to claim 1 . 5. A module comprising the lithium ion secondary battery according to claim 4 .
