What is claimed is: 1. A transaction card package assembly processing system comprising: a plurality of transaction card package assemblies, wherein the plurality of transaction card package assemblies comprises at least a first transaction card package assembly and a second transaction card package assembly and wherein the first transaction card package assembly is different from the second transaction card package assembly; a plurality of samples, wherein the plurality of samples comprises at least a first sample and a second sample, wherein the first sample is different from the second sample, and wherein the first sample is releasably attachable and re-attachable to the first transaction card assembly and the second transaction card package assembly and the second sample is releasably attachable and re-attachable to the first transaction card package assembly and the second transaction card package assembly; a datastore maintaining account information for the plurality of transaction card package assemblies, the plurality of samples, and any correlations between the two; a point of sale terminal interface for communicating with a point of sale terminal; a sample correlation unit to process and record correlation instructions, to determine which of the first transaction card package assembly and the second transaction card package assembly are eligible for correlation with the first sample and the second sample at a time of purchase of at least one of the first transaction card package assembly and the second transaction card package assembly, and to correlate one or more sample identifications with one or more transaction card package assembly identifications, wherein the sample correlation unit is a microprocessor comprising part of a distributed computing system for the transaction card package assembly processing system; a data request unit for processing data requests received from and transmitting data request responses to a transaction card package assembly interested party, wherein the data request unit is also part of the distributed computing system for the transaction card package assembly processing system; a card issuer authorization system interface for communicating with a card issuer authorization system; a sample issuer system interface for communicating with a sample issuer system; and a merchant system interface for communicating with a merchant system. 2. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 1 wherein communicating comprises an activation request. 3. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 1 wherein communicating comprises a correlation request. 4. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 1 wherein communicating comprises correlation instruction. 5. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 1 wherein communicating comprises a data request. 6. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 1 wherein communicating comprises a redemption request. 7. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 2 wherein communicating comprises a correlation request. 8. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 2 wherein communicating comprises correlation instruction. 9. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 2 wherein communicating comprises a data request. 10. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 2 wherein communicating comprises a redemption request. 11. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 7 wherein communicating comprises correlation instruction. 12. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 7 wherein communicating comprises a data request. 13. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 7 wherein communicating comprises a redemption request. 14. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 11 wherein communicating comprises a data request. 15. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 11 wherein communicating comprises a redemption request. 16. The transaction card package assembly processing system of claim 14 wherein communicating comprises a redemption request.
