What is claimed is: 1. A method for improving security of an e-commerce computer network using Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and short message service (SMS) protocol, the method comprising: transmitting a request to perform a transaction that utilizes the e-commerce computer network to a vendor system, receiving, in response to the transmitting, a message that includes a mailto hyperlink from an e-commerce system, wherein the message is received via SMS and the mailto hyperlink when activated generates an email message that contains a token for the transaction; transmitting, via SMTP, the email message to the e-commerce system; and receiving a confirmation that indicates that the transaction has been completed by the vendor system, wherein the transaction is completed based on an email address of a sender of the email message sent to the e-commerce system and the token contained in the email message sent to the e-commerce system, wherein the transaction is completed by confirming a validity of the email message based on the address of the sender using at least one of DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) or Sender Policy Framework (SPF) protocols. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mailto hyperlink includes the token. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mailto hyperlink includes a field that indicates an email address of a registered user of the e-commerce system. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the mailto hyperlink is a shortened URL. 5. A system for improving security of an e-commerce computer network using Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and short message service (SMS) protocol, the system comprising: a memory; a communication interface; and a processor that is communicatively coupled to the memory and the communication interface, wherein the processor is configured to: transmit, using the communication interface, a request to perform a transaction that utilizes the e-commerce computer network to a vendor system, receive, using the communication interface, a message that includes a mailto hyperlink via SMS from an e-commerce system, wherein the message is received in response to the request and the mailto hyperlink when activated generates an email message that contains a token for the transaction, transmit, using the communication interface, the email message to the e-commerce system via SMTP; and receive, using the communication interface, a confirmation that indicates that the transaction has been completed by the vendor system, wherein the transaction is completed based on an email address of a sender of the email message sent to the e-commerce system and the token contained in the email message sent to the e-commerce system, wherein the transaction is completed by confirming a validity of the email message based on the address of the sender using at least one of DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) or Sender Policy Framework (SPF) protocols. 6. The system of claim 5 , wherein the mailto hyperlink includes the token. 7. The system of claim 5 , wherein the mailto hyperlink includes a field that indicates an email address of a registered user of the e-commerce system. 8. The system of claim 5 , wherein the mailto hyperlink is a shortened URL. 9. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions for improving security of an e-commerce computer network using Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) and short message service (SMS) protocol, the instructions when executed by a processor cause the processor to execute a method comprising: transmitting a request to perform a transaction that utilizes the e-commerce computer network to a vendor system, receiving, via SMS, a message from an e-commerce system, wherein the message is received in response to the transmitting and the messages includes a mailto hyperlink, that when activated generates an email message that contains a token for the transaction; transmitting, via SMTP, the email message to the e-commerce system; and receiving a confirmation that indicates that the transaction has been completed by the vendor system, wherein the transaction is completed based on an email address of a sender of the email message sent to the e-commerce system and the token contained in the email message sent to the e-commerce system, wherein the transaction is completed by confirming a validity of the email message based on the address of the sender using at least one of DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) or Sender Policy Framework (SPF) protocols. 10. The method of claim 1 , wherein the token is generated by the e-commerce system. 11. The system of claim 5 , wherein the token is generated by the e-commerce system. 12. The non-transitory computer readable storage medium of claim 9 , wherein the token is generated by the e-commerce system.
