Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A supercharger is provided with: a housing; a rotary shaft that is supported inside the housing to be freely rotatable; a compressor wheel that is provided at one end in an axial direction of the rotary shaft; a cooling water supplying pipe and a cooling water discharging pipe that have a flange part at an end and are connected to the housing; and a lubricant supplying pipe that has a flange part at an end and is connected to the housing. The ends of the cooling water supplying pipe and the cooling water discharging pipe are inserted into a cooling water supplying flow path and a cooling water discharging flow path of the housing, respectively. The end of the lubricant supplying pipe is inserted into a first supplying flow path of the housing. The flange part presses the flange parts in an insertion direction and is fixed to the housing.

The invention claimed is: 1. A supercharger comprising: a housing; a rotary shaft that is rotatably supported inside the housing; a compressor wheel that is provided at one end portion in an axial direction of the rotary shaft; a first pipe that has a first mounting flange at an end portion thereof and that is connected to the housing; a second pipe that has a second mounting flange at an end portion thereof and that is connected to the housing, and an overlapping area where the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange overlap in a thickness direction of the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange, wherein the end portion of the first pipe is inserted into a first mounting hole that is provided in the housing, and the end portion of the second pipe is inserted into a second mounting hole that is provided in the housing, and the second mounting flange fixes the first mounting flange to the housing by pressing the first mounting flange in the thickness direction in the overlapping area, and is fixed to the housing in an area other than the overlapping area. 2. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein the rotary shaft is rotatably supported by the housing through a bearing, and at least one of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole is a lubricant supply hole or a lubricant discharge hole communicating with the bearing. 3. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein the housing has a refrigerant flow path provided around the rotary shaft, and at least one of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole is a refrigerant supply hole or a refrigerant discharge hole communicating with the refrigerant flow path. 4. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein the rotary shaft is rotatably supported by the housing through a bearing, one of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole is a lubricant supply hole or a lubricant discharge hole communicating with the bearing, the housing has a refrigerant flow path provided around the rotary shaft, and the other of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole is a refrigerant supply hole or a refrigerant discharge hole communicating with the refrigerant flow path. 5. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a rotation preventer for preventing rotation of the first pipe with respect to the housing is provided. 6. The supercharger according to claim 5 , wherein as the rotation preventer, a contact portion that comes into contact with the second pipe to prevent rotation of the first pipe is provided in the first mounting flange. 7. The supercharger according to claim 5 , wherein as the rotation preventer, a contact portion that comes into contact with the second mounting flange to prevent rotation of the first pipe is provided in the first pipe. 8. The supercharger according to claim 5 , wherein as the rotation preventer, a contact portion that comes into contact with the housing to prevent rotation of the first pipe is provided in the first mounting flange. 9. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange overlap in a thickness direction of the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange, and both the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange are fixed to the housing. 10. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein the first pipe and the second pipe are parallel to each other and are fixed to the housing. 11. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a first mounting surface of the housing, in which the first mounting hole is formed, and a second mounting surface of the housing, in which the second mounting hole is formed, are continuous flat surfaces. 12. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a first mounting surface of the housing, in which the first mounting hole is formed, and a second mounting surface of the housing, in which the second mounting hole is formed, are flat surfaces having a step therebetween, the first mounting flange comes into contact with the first mounting surface, and the second mounting flange comes into contact with the second mounting surface. 13. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of the first pipes are provided, and a common first mounting flange is provided at end portions of the plurality of first pipes. 14. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of the second pipes are provided, and a common second mounting flange is provided at end portions of the plurality of second pipes. 15. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a third pipe that has a third mounting flange at an end portion thereof and that is connected to the housing is provided, the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange overlap in a thickness direction of the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange, the second mounting flange and the third mounting flange overlap in a thickness direction of the second mounting flange and the third mounting flange, the second mounting flange is fixed to the housing and presses the first mounting flange and the third mounting flange in an insertion direction, and a rotation preventer for preventing rotation of the first pipe and the third pipe with respect to the housing is provided. 16. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a turbine wheel is provided at the other end portion in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. 17. The supercharger according to claim 1 , wherein a motor that drives the rotary shaft is provided in the housing. 18. A method for connecting a pipe in a supercharger which includes a housing, a rotary shaft that is rotatably supported inside the housing, a compressor wheel that is provided at one end portion in an axial direction of the rotary shaft, a first pipe that has a first mounting flange at an end portion thereof and that is connected to the housing, a second pipe that has a second mounting flange at an end portion thereof and that is connected to the housing, and an overlapping area where the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange overlap in a thickness direction of the first mounting flange and the second mounting flange, the method comprising: a step of inserting the end portion of the first pipe into a first mounting hole that is provided in the housing; a step of inserting the end portion of the second pipe into a second mounting hole that is provided in the housing; and a step of fixing the first mounting flange to the housing by pressing the first mounting flange in the thickness direction in the overlapping area of the second pipe via the second mounting flange, the first mounting flange is fixed to the housing in an area other than the overlapping area.
