Official abstract text for this publication.
An IAB node comprises processor circuitry and interface circuitry. The processor circuitry is to generate a synchronization signal (SS)/primary broadcast channel (PBCH) Block Measurement time Configuration (SMTC) and to use an STC muting indication to moot STC(s) in the SMTC which is/are not to be transmitted. The SMTC comprises plural synchronization signal (SS)/primary broadcast channel (PBCH) Block Transmission Configurations (STCs), each STC comprising plural synchronization signal (SS)/primary broadcast channel (PBCH) blocks (SS/PBCHs). The interface circuitry is configured to transmit the SMTC as muted in accordance with the STC muting indication.

The invention claimed is: 1. An Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node comprising: processor circuitry configured: to generate a plurality of synchronization signal block transmission configurations (STCs), each of the plurality of STCs comprising information of one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs); and to use an STC of the plurality of STCs for a synchronization signal block measurement and discovery of at least one other IAB node; and interface circuitry configured to transmit the plurality of STCs, wherein the information included in each of the plurality of STCs indicates, using a bitmap form, whether each of the corresponding one or more SSBs is transmitted or not in a half-frame. 2. An Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node comprising: interface circuitry configured to receive a plurality of synchronization signal block transmission configurations (STCs), each of the plurality of STCs comprising information of one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs), wherein an STC of the plurality of STCs is used for a synchronization signal block measurement and discovery of at least one other IAB node, and the information included in each of the plurality of STCs indicates, using a bitmap form, whether each of the corresponding one or more SSBs is transmitted or not in a half-frame. 3. A method in an Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) node comprising: generating a plurality of synchronization signal block transmission configurations (STCs), each of the plurality of STCs comprising information of one or more synchronization signal blocks (SSBs); using an STC of the plurality of STCs for a synchronization signal block measurement and discovery of at least one other IAB node; and transmitting the plurality of STCs, wherein the information included in each of the plurality of STCs indicates, using a bitmap form, whether each of the corresponding one or more SSBs is transmitted or not in a half-frame.
