Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Antenna-plexers for interference cancellation are provided herein. In certain embodiments, a wireless device includes an antenna, an antenna-plexer coupled to the antenna and configured to generate a feedback signal, a transmitter configured to transmit a transmit signal to the antenna by way of the antenna-plexer, a receiver configured to process a receive signal, and a feedback receiver configured to process the feedback signal from the antenna-plexer to provide compensation to the receive signal.

What is claimed is: 1. A wireless device comprising: a triplexer including a first high pass section, a low pass section, and a second high pass section; a power amplifier configured to amplify a radio frequency transmit signal to generate an amplified radio frequency transmit signal; an antenna connected to both the first high pass section and the low pass section, the antenna configured to receive the amplified radio frequency transmit signal through the low pass section; and a feedback receiver configured to receive a radio frequency feedback signal from the second high pass section of the triplexer. 2. The wireless device of claim 1 wherein the amplified radio frequency transmit signal is provided to both the low pass section and the second high pass section. 3. The wireless device of claim 1 further comprising a low noise amplifier configured to receive a radio frequency receive signal from the antenna through the low pass section. 4. The wireless device of claim 3 further comprising a receiver configured to generate a receive signal based on an amplified radio frequency receive signal from the low noise amplifier. 5. The wireless device of claim 4 wherein the feedback receiver is configured to process the radio frequency feedback signal to provide digital self-interference cancellation to the receive signal. 6. The wireless device of claim 4 wherein the feedback receiver compensates the receive signal for at least one of adjacent channel leakage, harmonic interference, or intermodulation distortion. 7. The wireless device of claim 1 further comprising a multi-throw switch configured to selectively provide the amplified radio frequency transmit signal to the second high pass section. 8. The wireless device of claim 7 wherein the multi-throw switch provides the amplified radio frequency transmit signal to the low pass section but not to the second highpass section in a first mode, and to both the low pass section and the second highpass section in a second mode. 9. The wireless device of claim 1 wherein the amplified radio frequency transmit signal is in a low band. 10. The wireless device of claim 9 wherein the antenna is further configured to receive a transmit signal in a high band through the first high pass section. 11. A front end system comprising: a triplexer including a first high pass section, a low pass section, and a second high pass section; a power amplifier configured to amplify a radio frequency transmit signal to generate an amplified radio frequency transmit signal; an antenna port connected to both the first high pass section and the low pass section, the antenna port configured to receive the amplified radio frequency transmit signal through the low pass section; and a feedback port for coupling to a feedback receiver, the feedback port configured to output a radio frequency feedback signal received from the second high pass section of the triplexer. 12. The front end system of claim 11 wherein the amplified radio frequency transmit signal is provided to both the low pass section and the second high pass section. 13. The front end system of claim 11 further comprising a low noise amplifier configured to receive a radio frequency receive signal from the antenna port through the low pass section. 14. The front end system of claim 11 further comprising a multi-throw switch configured to selectively provide the amplified radio frequency transmit signal to the second high pass section. 15. The front end system of claim 14 wherein the multi-throw switch provides the amplified radio frequency transmit signal to the low pass section but not to the second highpass section in a first mode, and to both the low pass section and the second highpass section in a second mode. 16. The front end system of claim 11 wherein the amplified radio frequency transmit signal is in a low band. 17. The front end system of claim 16 wherein the antenna port is further configured to receive a transmit signal in a high band through the first high pass section. 18. A method of feedback in a wireless device, the method comprising: amplifying a radio frequency transmit signal to generate an amplified radio frequency transmit signal using a power amplifier; receiving the amplified radio frequency transmit signal at an antenna through a low pass section of a triplexer, the antenna connected to both the low pass section and a first high pass section of the triplexer; and receiving a radio frequency feedback signal at a feedback receiver from a second high pass section of the triplexer. 19. The method of claim 18 further comprising selectively providing the amplified radio frequency transmit signal to the second high pass section using a multi-throw switch. 20. The method of claim 19 further comprising providing the amplified radio frequency transmit signal to the low pass section but not to the second highpass section in a first mode of the multi-throw switch, and to both the low pass section and the second highpass section in a second mode of the multi-throw switch.
